The scent is great for clearing the sinuses during a shower
I don’t throw it on the floor to dissolve though, as the steam doesn’t contain the scent long enough. I will set it on the shower shelf, occasionally run it under water, and inhale the vapors closely. When it’s nearly dissolved I’ll allow it to finish dissolving in my hands and rinse my neck and shoulders with the remaining precipitate, which allows the vapor odor to persist.

Pleasant experience!
Was not ill or congested. Just wanted some nice aromas and a good, restful shower. They do let off a nice scent. Tablets dissolve fairly quickly but you can move it around to make it last a little longer. Had years ago used Sudafed shower tablets (they stopped making them). Those were much stronger and lasted longer. I do not think the overall strength of these tablets would help much with actual congestion. You need other things in addition to this tablet for relief I think. Yes, as another review mentions, you do need to cut open the tablet package for ease of use. The price is a bit high for me, even in the 12 tablet size that is more complicated than the smaller options. Will keep my eye out for sales or something.

Works good when stuffy. This product by Vicks Vapo rub has a lot more vapor than the generic store brand. Would buy again once gets low.

Wish they had more scent power
Wish they had more scent power. They don’t last very long and they do cost a lot – in my opinion. Wish they made a magnum version with more smell and help for colds.

Relief!
There’s nothing better than a nice hot shower when a cold has exploded in your head! I love the vapors this adds to a shower. Breath again with these shower steamers! Highly recommend!

Best for when you’re sick
We LOVE these! We used to use eucalyptus bubble bath in the tub when we were feeling under the weather. This is basically the grown up shower version of that, really helps to relax or feel better when not feeling well.

Not very strong
The tablets do work but not that great. The smell released in the shower isn’t really strong enough to clear sinuses, and the package has to be cut open so make sure you think ahead when you’re getting in the shower. Forget trying to open it with wet hands if you didn’t plan ahead. The closure is kind of like a really thick potato chip bag and I can’t even open it with dry ones. It really could use some kind of perforated tear on the package to help get it open.

These are great options for Vicks. It is very easy and convenient to just throw a tab in the shower when you get it to get the Vicks experience while taking a shower.

Wake up!!
These are strong and powerful. Throw them in the shower stream and they dissolve and create a steam of powerful vapor that opens my sinuses and wakes me up! No messy residue left in the tub.
