Wanted to love it
I really like Vtech products, my baby has several toys by their brand and they are of good quality and entertaining.This rattle however, I think is lacking in design:- The mirror on the bottom is too small for it to be useful, my baby doesn’t even notice it.- The handle for the rattle is too thick, easy for an adult to grab but my baby struggles to hold it even with two hands.- The weight of the rattle is too much for a baby to hold. It seems it was not tested on babies hands because it’s really heavy even for me!My baby likes to chew on the puppy’s ears but I have to hold the rattle for him so that he can play with it.The density of the plastic used to make the puppy’s head and the rotating accessories in the handle, is too high. They should consider using a lightweight plastic instead.My other concern with such a heavy item is that even if my baby was able to hold it he could hit himself with this and it does not seem safe enough.

LOVE THIS RATTLE!
My 3 month old loves this rattle! It teaches his cause and effect because its motion sensored so even though he cant necessarily hold it yet, when he kicks his legs or waves his arms, the rattle moves and he is so happy! I love the automatic turn off so its not constantly playing even when he’s not around! The songs aren’t annoying either!

Hard to please baby loves it
My 4 month old loves this toy. She’s attracted to sound and light and this is enough without being over stimulating. She has been trying to hold and put the rattle in her mouth. It’s still too heaven and awkward but she manages to gnaw on the ears. It travels easy and I throw it in the diaper bag on the go.

Awesome product but company lied
My 5 month old loves this rattle! If she’s upset, I hand her the rattle and it can normally calm her down. I would pay this price again…but when a company says you’re getting a percentage off or that this is a deal and you come back after Christmas and realize that’s just the cost of the item, you realize that the company just lied in order to try to get more sales.I would pay $8.99. But try getting our attention without lying and claiming that we are getting a so called “discount”

Adopt this Puppy NOW!
Im a FTM and I got this for my 4 month old daughter when she was 3 months and she absolutely LOVES it! It’s a great toy on the go or when she’s needing some quick stimulation. The puppy has a bunch of cute little sayings and songs. Its cheeks light up simultaneously which grabs her attention. She loves to chew on its crinkle paper ears too. I will say it is still a bit heavy for her to hold up (so be prepared to be Puppy’s puppeteer for a bit) but doesn’t stop her from enjoying and playing! It’s an all over great toy for a great price! BUY IT!!!

My son loves it!
This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my son, and I left it in a box thinking he wouldn’t be able to find it. But he did, and now I can’t take it away from him he loves it so much! The music is clear and not too loud! He smiles and dances to the music! Great quality! It does have bright lights and colors which is great because it makes my son want to play with it even more when the lights are on and the music is going! It’s a great gift for babies of any age month! My son is turning a year old in November, and he is obsessed with this toy! Easy to use, the buttons are easy to push so my son can make it sing whenever he likes to! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a gift for a baby or for your baby!

Had to order another because husband waterboarded the original
This was seriously my daughters favorite toy since about 2 months old. It’s goes off as it’s bumped or moved and the ears are her favorite thing to chew…so much so that Papa decided to wash his slimy ears and ended up waterboarding her puppy. 😅Poor girl was moppy that her puppy wasn’t singing to her anymore until we got her new one in the mail because we couldn’t find it in the store. Her face lit up once her puppy started barking at her again!

My 12 mo boy isnt amused by it- seems too simple for him- also Heavy
Cute idea but the sounds remind me of Atlantic City or Vegas casinos. My 12 mo old was not entertained by it either. I think he’s too “mature” now for it where he’s not stimulated by something like this. Seems better suited for a younger baby, but it’s also very large and heavy so idk how a baby smaller than him would be able to manipulate this. You have to keep pressing certain areas for it to light up/make noises so it’s a bit of a pain. Not sure how this has so many high ranking reviews. Kinda odd
