Update – Finally got a refund.—I spent a ton of time looking into an RC car that was quality and I was willing to pay extra for it.This was not the right choice. Long story short: The insides are junk. And the seller will offer to refund you if you remove your one star rating, but they don’t actually refund you.Good:The remote is solid feeling, the exterior of the car like the frame and shocks are great. Really great.Bad:The battery connector in the car broke the first time we unplugged the battery. I had to open up the car and re-attach wires between the battery and the circuit board. If you don’t know how to solder, this is not a DIY repair.THEN – The car stopped steering left. Forward and backward still worked, but nothing left. I took a video of how it looks when you try to turn left. Turns out some of the cheap crappy plastic gears broke on the inside. Can’t repair it. Reached out to the seller – no joy, and posted a 1 star review.About a week later, get a note about refunding me for my order if I can remove the review. So I do and I’d have happily left a review saying the car I got was crap but the seller stands by their product. Instead, it was just a con or a scam to get me to remove my 1 star review. So here we are again. Don’t buy this car or anything from this scammer seller.

Perfect for 5 year-old grandson! So much fun, I love driving it myself! Amazing Power!
Initially I ordered an RC from Amazon but was disappointed when it arrived. I searched for a replacement & found this Doublee Monster Truck. I received the package quickly & decided to test it out before Christmas. Battery was already charged & there was even a spare battery to prolong the fun! I took it outside, acclaimated myself to the trigger remote & challenged the Doublee to see what it could really do. Amazingly, this truck out performed easily climbing the sidewalk steps to our house. Christmas arrived & due to COVID, we did FaceTime to watch the grandkids open their gifts. Our Grandson was thrilled with the gift. He is almost 5 years old & mastered the remote control within minutes. The Doublee truck is durable (he has crashed it into a few obstacles), has long battery life & truly climbs like a real vehicle. Look at the photo that shows how large this RC truck is compared to another truck. This RC truck is sure to provide many hours of fun for my Grandson & ME!

These are a blast – one of the best Christmas gifts, everyone still playing with them!
Overall great product. Good looking, nice features: forward, reverse, lights, ability to climb, good tires, good battery life, able to run multiple units. We bought two for our granddaughters (ages 4 and 5). Pappy and Daddy had the battery dead after ‘testing’ them for well over half an hour! Girls loved them, they really do climb – we have hills, grass, rocks, and blacktop. Speed is great for children under the age of 12 (you don’t want them chasing a run away vehicle). My only recommendation is a bit more sturdy steering undercarriage. The one ‘driver’ loves action and loves the rocks and hills. After several rollovers though, the vehicle would not turn both ways. Luckily, we have a mechanic, electrician, and builder in the family. They were able to fix the vehicle – both times it happened. It needed taken apart to fix. If you do not have a ‘handy’ skilled person available, I would the rock climb attempts of any young children or those prone to wanting to roll.

Great car but only came with one battery (2 advertised)
The car is great, but the description clearly states that it comes with two AA 800mAh 6V batteries for the remote control car. It only came with one. This was the main reason I bought this, because it said you could have 1 hour of play time with the two batteries. Very disappointed. I submitted a request for the additional battery and I will update this post once I hear back. Fingers crossed!

My 4yr old loves this truck. It can go over quite a number of obstacles and he’s even gotten it got over a sidewalk. The remote is a little challenging for a 4 year old as he doesn’t quite get how to use the knob to turn consistently but he love chasing it around the yard and having it roll over things.

We bought this for our 6 year old grandson for Christmas. I charged both batteries and installed one of the batteries before wrapping it. All he needed to do was unwrap it and play with it. We were all suprised at the power this truck had. He started with it in the house but soon we took it outside. It went through the grass, over down spouts and up side of rocks to flip and do it all again. It was fantastic. He was still on the first battery when we left 2 hours later. I do feel that an adult needs to remove and install the battery as the wiring and connectors are very small. I was also impressed that it came with a screw driver.

Fabulous Customer Service
My kindergartner received three different RC cars for Christmas. This was the best as it has lasted the longest (one of the three didn’t make it 24 hours before seizing up), had best battery life (the one that took AA was returned unopened – just a hard pass on that) and had amazingly good customer service (plastic shock and gear broke so company sent a new truck when I emailed to ask about replacement parts!) Almost two months later and still running! The downside on durability is that the plastic parts are fragile, but the upside is that the company will help get you parts to get it up and running again. I recommend it. Great customer service is always appreciated.

Easy to control remote, shocks break easily
Tons of fun….BUT shocks seem to break easily. It would be helpful to include spare parts for these. Batteries last for about 2 hours, but does come with a spare set of rechargeable batteries. You do need to use a screwdriver to remove and replace batteries. All that being said, we have tried other remote cars for our kids and they have enjoyed these the most. The style of remote has been easiest for our toddler and 6 year old to use. We will stick with these.

Powerful truck, great price

Awesome
Got this as a Christmas gift for my son. The tires are not solid so it allows the truck to climb easily. The remote control is responsive and has a good range. The battery life allows for a long play time. This truck is very durable and tough. Well made for the price, I highly recommend.

Such a waste! I wish I could give negative stars.
For context, I’m never the type of person to leave a review but for this product I had to share my horrible experience.Ordered one for Christmas for my son, after less than a minute of playing I notice it’s driving poorly. Look underneath and find a broken “stabilizer” piece in the picture.I thought okay maybe this was just a one off event and ordered a replacement….Within minutes the second truck’s stabilizer pieces were broken. Mind you this is a 3 year old just driving it straight on the ground in side my house. Nothing rough.In all my years of ordering thousands of products off of Amazon, this was by far the worst product I’ve ever come into contact with.The distress this caused my son when he’d get so excited to play with his new RC monster truck only to be let down within minutes was something I never wanted to experience twice within days, but here I am.For over $50, this truck should have a better design for the stabilizer bars to avoid this happening.Sending both back.

Great beginner RC vehicle
Our 4 year old son received this truck for his birthday and he’s able to use it easily. I love how it’s not too fast and the battery lasts 20-25 minutes in most cases. However, you do have to remember to turn the truck switch to the off position when not using. Even if not playing with the truck, the battery would drain overnight if left on. I thought the battery or truck was defective at first, since the battery had been charged but the truck lasted less than a minute before dying. Once we realized this, we haven’t had the battery drain issue anymore.

Missing Charger
This was my sons favorite Christmas gift. It is faster than any other RC vehicle we’ve purchased. However, the vehicle came without a charger. I have written the company multiple emails without a response. I am being forced to return a toy that was loved so much all bc of a missing piece. The piece that makes it functional. I have 11 days before return eligibility is up. Still hoping to hear back before then.

Kids love it, Hope it will last
Glad went for this size. I thought it would be too big, but it is very nice size. Also, Nice speed (not too fast) so kids can control better. I like how it can climb up small object or hop down the steps etc, however, after week of playing, it does not turn to Left. I don’t see any outside damage, or even yet, when I lift the unit, wheel does turn all the way to the left, but when it is on land, wheel does not turn all the way and just goes straight (or right turn only). Hopefully i can fix it one day, and hopefully it is more durable so kids can play longer. They love it.[update]Tried to fix but I did not go too deep with it. loosen and re tighten the screw on front wheel box area and not fully but improved bit for wheel turn.[Another Update]Started to make more grinding sound while turning (and having hard time turns). The rib holds the gear shafts for turning mechanism was broken. Contacting CS right now

Worth every penny
I bought it to my son but after i saw it as the color so lovely and as soon i open the box i said one word WOW. SO i decided to keep it to my self as i ordered another to my looking forward to Receive it. The car is very sturdy as I have flipped it many times and it gets back up and keeps on running. My son and I love it because it is a monster truck and we love monster trucks. The car is so fast that it pops wheelies if you start it too fast and it will ALWAYS flip over if you gun it off of the line.

Overall great product
My son absolutely loves this truck. The lights make it so he can use it in the dark so the fun never stops. The only thing I would change is the durability on the front shocks. Unfortunately my sons broke very easily. Besides that I would highly recommend this and am looking into getting more for my other children.

A great and tuff truck
We have been using this for about a week. It has been great the rc car was for my 14 year son with disabilities. He loves rc cars and always wants one but every one he gets he breaks quickly because he is rough on them. So far everything has been great it takes everything that he has dished out and has keep going. The great thing so far he has not been able to get it stuck it goes over anything that he has found he even got it to climb up the stairs. It has been a great and tuff truck.

Great, durable car!
We bought this for our 4 year old for his birthday. He is very rough on toys and this car has had no issues keeping up with him! Works great on the various terrains we have tried it on. Easy to figure out how to steer for a 4 year old but even my 6 year old (and my husband!) love this little car too! Lots of fun! Great battery life.

Great for a while but something went wrong after a few uses
At first this was a great toy, my child used it in the park and loves ranging up and down the grass with it, it worked really well in steep ‘off road’ situations. But then it started making a strange noise and the wheel doesn’t always turn properly which is very disappointing.

DO NOT BUY
The batteries are not rechargeable and don’t hold a charge after 1st use. We bought another truck (blue), same brand, and it equally sucks. The other brand (begins with an “h”) has a much better battery life. This is also a huge bummer because we got 2 of these and 1 of the “H” brand. So, 2 of 3 kids don’t have a working remote control truck.Do not buy this as the battery life is wretched. Also, finding a replacement battery is impossible. So now we are stuck with over $100 of trucks to not work.

Great quality, long battery life, and a great price point.
My fiancee and I had been searching for monster trucks for the kids ever since we were at Wal-Mart and bought a couple for them. Those from there were absolutely garbage so the search started on Amazon. I came across this and my step-daughter immediately wanted to give it a shot. So very glad that we did. The remote is very friendly to kids of all ages and the battery lasts quite a while considering the price point for this truck. Also, all of the little details such as the headlights and such are such an awesome bonus! 10/10 recommend!

Fun
My boys received this as a Christmas present. They are ages 5.5 and 4. The truck can climb over things easily and my son ran it into a tree and the truck flipped over and continued running. They have enjoyed using their bike ramps for the trucks to climb. Easy to operate (my young kids had no problem) and they are durable and fast. The adults had a blast too- long range (we were able to drive it a few houses down while standing in our driveway). We bought 2 of these and my kids can work them both at the same time.

Great Choice
I got this as a Birthday gift for a four year old boy. He absolutely loved it. Of all the gifts he received this was the one he wouldn’t put down. It ready to go right out of the box. He lives pretty close to where the actual Grave Digger truck is located so this was the perfect gift for him. The speed wasn’t too fast for him to control and his parents really liked being able to mute the sound effects while in the house. In fact they thanked me for choosing that option. That was one very happy little boy.

My son loved this truck however it broke after a few uses. We attempted to look at the front motor of the truck but unfortunately some of the plastic pieces broke on the inside of the truck. My husband tried fixing but some of the plastic teeth broke which help the truck move. Need a new pin and plastic pieces to fix!

The little buggy that can.
I bought this for my 7 year old and I’m glad I did. The truck is quick and the dual motor design provides traction and torque to punch through rough terrain. We’ve ran it over rocks, sand, dirt, grass and mud and had zero issues. In addition. this toy is a looker. It’s a great starter RC since the top speed is just right to get acclimated with the remote and the buggy’s tendencies. I’ve seen far too many kids start up on high speed RC’s and crashing them on the curb. The battery will arrive with a light charge but best to charge completely to get best results. Extremely pleased with purchase.

Nice RC Truck Toy
the product arrived within a day.the included battery required charging before use and it took about 3 hours to charge as indicated. it was really easy to setup and get going. installing the battery into the truck and the RC was easy using the screwdriver provided.we test drove the RC truck in the backyard which has grass. it easily handled the grass and can even climb over small branches and obstacles.So far so good… no issues

**UPDATE** the replacement car works as it should, I have not had any problems as of yet.I had to sent the first one back, it lasted 5 minutes and then the remote wouldn’t connect to the car. The replacement works. My 5 year old loves it and the remote is easier for him to work than a traditional style.

Great Car – Small room for improvement
Bought the car for my son’s birthday. He loves it. Due to the big tires it goes over lots of obstacles with ease. But the major positive with this car is its battery life. We used this car for 45 minutes on one charge. Outstanding!However, the manufacturer can improve a few things. The screws need to have retention feature – like that small plastic washer. That way they will not get lost. Also, the manufacturer should provide the needed 2.0A power supply with the truck. It is a pain to find one.

This was a Christmas present for my son. His original car had some issues from the first drive. We returned it for a replacement and that car worked much better. After about three weeks the batteries no long held a charge. We would charge it all night long and then once it was in the car only worked for about 10 seconds. I reached out to the company and after a few emails and uploading a video of the car they sent a replacement to us. We received it today and for now it’s working awesome. When it works my son loves it. I just hope this one lasts longer than three weeks!

Awesome beginner crawler
We got this for my son’s 5th birthday – he wanted a crawler but we didn’t want to spend a huge amount. He loves it and has used and abused it for the last 3 months and it is still going strong. It is amazingly capable and can go over rocks and obstacles, up steep hills, off jumps and down stairs, through snow, mud, and puddles (prolonged submersion not recommended). Due to the nature of their use, all crawlers do sometimes need repairs. After 2 months, the steering developed an issue and we contacted customer service for spare parts. They were extremely responsive with sending spare parts and helped me repair the problem right away.

Overall, this is a great truck. I wasn’t sure what to expect for ~$50, but my 4 and 6 year old children are very happy with them. They go just about anywhere and I’m impressed with how much run time they get on one battery pack. The photo shows the green and blue versions, with Traxxas Rustler in the middle.In regard to green vs blue models…. we have both. My vote is BLUE. They are exactly the same truck minus the body. They are the same speed. However, the blue model spends way less time on it’s back than the green. The blue model, due to the shape of the body, tends to roll itself back over more than the green. See my video as demonstration…Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Amzing 4×4 trucks
Love the power on these trucks my son got his for Christmas and I had to buy my self one cause of how much fun they are. We live in the desert and rmote control cars was always a issue for us due to all the rocks and gravel. These trucks are for sure 4×4 they get over curves and huge rocks. Battery live is amazing. We will be building a off road dirt track and for sure be having lots of fun. Fun off-road capabilities!
My kids love the off-road capabilities of this RC car! It’s been a lot of fun driving over different objects. The remote control seems to be made of lite weight plastic, but is holding up ok so far. Battery life is descent, but not as long as advertised. We’ve only had it about two weeks, but it seems to be pretty durable so far. Overall, we’re happy with this RC car 😊

Runs well in grass yard!
I was looking for a first time remote control car that was big and could run in our grass yard. After reviewing many many RC cars, I decided to buy this one. It is 1/12 size and sets high and has an excellent range and battery life. It really works well operating in the grass yard as well as on concrete and dirt. My 4 year old granddaughter loves playing with it and does real well. She learned the controls quickly and enjoys running it in our backyard. I put ramps and blocks of wood in the yard for her to drive over and learn the steering. She and I love that it has operating headlights when driving forward. Overall good RC truck
My kids have beat this truck up and it was handling for a while. Unfortunately, the front wheels aren’t turning with the controller now and I can’t figure out how to get in there to fix it. We gave it to my three year old, and I’m pretty sure it was intended for a little bit older. So if it’s taken care of, I’m sure it will last longer.

Geat Product, even better service.
Ours came damaged and the Manuf. asked for a picture and had us a new one within 48 hrs. The kids love it and it works great!!!!

Easy enough for a toddler and fun enough for older children
My 2 yr old grandson loved this. He would place other cars in a row and drive over them like at a monster truck show. He loved to take it outside as well in the grass and on the sidewalk. He played with it every day. It was easy for him to use and durable. When he finally drove it into a large metal dump truck toy he broke the front tire . So we ordered another one because he was heart broken. Worth the money!

A great toy
Bought this for my 6-year-old grandson. He loved it. Very sturdy and tough. As with most RC cars, battery life is fairly short.
