Say farewell to slobbery games of fetch. The brilliantly-simple design of Chuckit! means you’ll never have to pick up a sodden tennis ball again. Perfect for ball junkies of all breeds and sizes, this nifty little toy is like an extension of your arm. You’ll throw longer and faster and keep hands slime-free, all without wearing out your pitching arm. With practice, it’s possible to fling a ball as far as 140 feet, tiring out the most fetch-happy retriever in a shorter period of time. Chuckit! is also great for owners with mobility issues, since there’s no need to bend over and pick up balls. Simply place the claw over the ball and press down. The Chuckit! tool snaps around the ball and holds on. To get the most distance out of the tool, use an overhand throw and follow through. Use only standard-size tennis balls, and be careful not to throw directly at animals or people. This set comes complete with a ball to get you started. –Mary Park

Saved my messed up back!
My lab plays fetch for at least an hour twice a day in the park. When we play ball, that’s at least 50 throws per walk. When I couldn’t bend over because of a sprain, this saved me. Love that it folds and fits into my dog bag.

As expected!
Pay attention to what size handle length you buy (I forgot and ended up with the shorter version which means some bending at the waist/knees is still required). The ball included is the fuzzy tennis-ball material type. Overall, it does what it says- my throwing distance is quite impressive now!

Very Strudy
I was nervous about the mechanics of how this version of chuck-it stick would stay straight in comparison to all the original non-bending ones, since it wasn’t demonstrated in any pictures or videos or talked about in the description, but it’s all good. The orange part slides down over the bend and locks into place, preventing the bend from flipping down when you whip the stick. So it functions just as well as all the non-bending chuck-it sticks! I even looked online for every other retailer selling this product to see if it was just Amazon dropping the ball with the description, but it looks like it must have come directly from chuck-it that they didn’t provide any marketing on this since literally no one addresses it in their product descriptions and then no one addresses it in their reviews either. So whatever maybe I am weird for being the only one worried about it but whatever I figured I’d put it in my review so at least someone else can have some peace of mind before purchasing if they are concerned as well.

Saves my Arm
If you have a hyperactive dog that LOVES to play fetch, get this. I will say, I was disappointed when I noticed it wouldn’t fit a normal sized tennis ball. It only holds the ball it came with, which is a little bit bigger that a standard tennis ball. Not a deal breaker for us. It does chunk the crap out of the ball & our arms are grateful.

Like throwing outfield to home plate
Our dog who is the main athlete is crazy about this, and they chuck balls a LONG way. Can’t beat this for an inexpensive toy for a dog who likes to fetch balls (a requirement of course). Get the pack of the extra balls, you’ll eventually need them one way or the other!

A Pain Saver!
Love this! I have an extremely active Border Collie that requires a lot of interaction. Playing fetch with a ball is his favorite activity. Unfortunately I have a bad back and shoulder. Throwing a ball and constantly bending down to pick it up limits our play time. Not any more…I can throw ball and pick it up all day with this device. A real pain saver!

Dogs love it
I mean… who hasn’t used one? I bought the 26″ one before and it was too long and hurt my arms. The medium length ones are much better for my 70lb gold/shep mix. The balls are excellent and I’ve never seen them get ripped. I do lose them though. The handle plastic is durable. I’ve found it chewed on but the handle is pretty thick. The cup is not quite as durable and it’s been chewed but I think the shape of the cup helps keep most of it intact. Can’t recommend these enough.

This one needed to be calibrated, but high quality as always
My launcher was holding onto the balls much harder than any of the other Chuck-it launchers I have used. I was “trying to throw it straight up” to get a nice “patty cake” fetch arc.Propane torch quickly waved around the top/back of the dome to get it near glass transition temp and then pull the dome open slightly. Alternatively, you could quickly dip it in boiling water for a few seconds. Hold while it cools, as it will try to tighten again it cools and it could end up tighter. Test. Adjust until you have your aim back. Now it’s perfect.

Great toy!
This toy does great for being able to make long throws constantly without tiring out your arm! I also love being able to pick up the ball without getting slobber all over my hands! It’s not as durable as I’d like. The cup likes to crack after a while. We go through 2-3 a year after using it almost every day. Do yourself a favor and upgrade balls as the supplied ball is like a tennis ball which I’m not a fan of.

Labs love this!!!
Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand.My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don’t have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!!He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won’t waste time throwing the ball again!Man, I love that dog!!! ❤️

This thing rockets a ball into space!
I like the sturdiness and quality of the plastic portion. It flexes even in the cold whereas competitors are prone to breaking. It accommodates slightly varied ball size. And flings that ball like you can’t even imagine! Good luck aiming it, though. Oh, and don’t “plunk” your puppy in the head with it thinking you’re going to throw it over her head and you end up delivering a tennis ball to her dome instead. It’ll happen. You will laugh. The dog will not care…Have fun! It really wears out my GSPs because they run further. Good design. Dangerous, in some people’s hands, but good design. The balls, however, only lasted the day I got it. My dog ate the ball to pieces by about the third throw. Only thing left was two halves and a furry tennis ball skin. I bought an extra just in case and he ate that one within two throws. But! Amazon has more balls, that are chew resistant, and they fit this apparatus! So I’m happy.

For big dogs only
This model is best for large breeds because the balls are bigger than normal size tennis balls. I have a giant schnauzer. The blue chuck-it model tennis ball equivalent are easy to get lost in longer grass but these being bigger are much easier to find if your dog happens to drop it while away from you because they found something else of interest on the way back to you! Plus being bigger balls they’re easier to take out the dogs mouth if your pup doesn’t want to give up like mine. Lol

Game changer!
When I first saw these advertised, I thought it was so ridiculous! But I finally decided to try it, and now I am a believer! This makes playing fetch with my dog so much more enjoyable…sends the ball a lot farther for her to chase, and no having to touch the slobbery ball with my hands! I like the small size of this one for travel and storage. But I think I will also get a longer one too for even less bending over (I am totally bought in to all the “lazy” ridiculousness now, haha).

I saw a lot of reviews complain about the ball. The product isn’t really about the ball, is it? It’s about saving your shoulder from throwing the ball for your dog. You can buy different balls. The thrower and ball are great! The thrower definitely helps save your shoulder when playing fetch with your dog. I can now play for a longer period of time which my pup loves. Great product!

Love this product for playing ball
My dog loves this and so do other dogs that come to play. They will run after balls all day and you can throw at ground for a bounce, straight up for a high catch or far out in the field. I can play longer with this toy, since it is less strain on my arthritic shoulder.

Saves your arm from throwing the ball for your dog
This product came with a ball as it describes and also along the sturdy arm to throw the ball. I have a dog that loves plain fetch and it’s hard to throw the ball in my acre yard to get along distance so the dog can run far if I do so it hurts my arm With this throwing stick, I’m able to throw the ball long distances so my dog can run and get the ball and bring it back to me while saving my arms so that my arm does not hurt. The stick is sturdy and perfect for the price.

Best toy, the end
Combined with the Max Glow ball, this is the best dog toy available on modern planet Earth.I have a burly 92lb. pit bull mix with highly developed prey drive, and she will chase the glow ball for hours if I let her.The tiny sport launcher (Sport 12M) is the best, because you can still throw the ball really far, but you can also slam the ball down a few feet away from yourself so it bounces up in the air and your dog has to jump to catch it, or you can throw it up really high so it bounces 15′ away or so and your dog can jump to catch it. We sometimes have to play fetch in a pretty small area, so it’s nice to have the small launcher for these games. The larger launchers aren’t as fun in small areas. You can play the same games but it’s trickier to throw the ball correctly. Also, the small launcher is a lot easier to carry. The small launcher fits in my dog-walk-stuff backpack (with the ball in the launcher so I don’t have to dig for it later), but the big ones don’t easily. The launcher also has a hole in the end so you can hang it from your bag or whatever with a carabiner. The big ones are too long for that in most cases, and swing back and forth.Also-also my dog loves to ask for the launcher, then when I give it to her she plays keep-away and it’s adorable. The big launcher I have is harder for her to balance in her mouth, so she just lays down and chews on it until it gets taken away. She’s chewed on all of the four Chuck Its we’ve owned, but she’s only broken one (a big one), but that’s because she got ahold of it when no one was home. The little one in my bag is totally chewed up but still works great. I think they’re sturdier than the big ones. Except for the launcher she chewed into pieces, which was our fault, the only reason we’ve had to replace anything was because we lost it. Usually we keep the launcher and ball in the backpack so she can’t get to them and so they don’t get lost, so we rarely have to replace them. There is just not a better value in toys, and the startup price is really low.Once again I really recommend the glow ball! It doesn’t get soggy no matter how wet the grass or the dog mouth is. It is fun to chase because it is slippery and it collapses when it’s squeezed, so it pops out of the dog’s mouth and flies away if they bite it at the wrong angle; it’s really bouncy, and stays bouncy because it can’t be popped; it whistles so you can usually hear it even if you can’t see it; and it really glows enough for nighttime catch, even if you only have your cellphone flashlight to charge it up!UPDATE:I should have said, we have the 12M launcher, which means the handle is 12 inches long and it uses a medium-sized ball. The medium ball is 2.5 inches in diameter, so the launcher will fit regular tennis balls, too! But my dog won’t play with regular tennis balls anymore because they aren’t anywhere near as fun as the glow balls, and I think she doesn’t like having gross sloshy muddy tennis balls in her mouth.I lost my short launcher awhile back and could only get a long one locally to replace it, which reminded me that you have to lean over a lot further to use the short launcher. So if you have trouble leaning over to the point that your hand is a foot above the ground, this may be hard for you to use.I wish Amazon would let us choose colors, because my old one was green, and the big one is orange, both of which are bright enough to see in the grass from far away, even at night.Still, best toy!

Great for fetch.
Our dog likes fetch and this is a great product to have. It holds a standard tennis ball as well.Great parts about this item is it will throw the ball farther then by hand. Also don’t have to get the saliva all over you as if you had to pick it up by hand.First one we had lasted about 3-4 years. We abused it and we were surprised it lasted that long. If you take good care of it, don’t leave it out in the yard/sun. It probably would last a long time.

25″ Folding Version
Unfortunately reviews for all the Chuckit launchers are mixed together. I have several launchers in different sizes. Compared to the 25″ M Sport, the folding variant is understandably less flexible throughout the shaft. Consequently the folding model does not provide the same range or control, but it works well enough. If you want a long launcher that is easy to carry on walks/hikes, this is a great option. If you are playing fetch at dog parks or at home, the traditional style is a better choice. Comes with an elastic ring on end to hold the folded position, but it looks flimsy and expect it won’t last long.

Best Invention!!!
Anyone that has a dog that chases balls needs a Chuck It! No more slobbery balls touching your hand. No more bending down to pick up slobbery balls. A large puppy came into my daughter’s family and we still had our Chuck It from a previous ball chasing dog. We had to throw that ball at least 50 times to wear out that ball obsessed dog. The Chuck It made it easier and more sanitary for us. I also think it made the process go faster because she brought it back and dropped it right away. Everyone was happy.

Spitty Ball Friend
Tennis ball launcher. To keep distance between spit mud & you, this is your best tool. Also helps with exercise when you have a hitch in your get-along (surgery, injury, illness). This particular version is shortest – likely fit in a purse or small messenger bag. Fits standard urban back yard size (long as you put no muscle into it). Has 2 different longer lengths (different sellers). Now also has a folding version & Nerf version too. This uses physics of force & length to project tennis balls further than human arm alone. This is the basic, fixed arm (not collapsible) one. Chuckit tennis balls (1 included) are of fairly poor quality & are cracked by dog bite easily. Replace with a bulk bag of tennis balls – standard size fits well. When ball is newer will roll faster & be more likely to bounce over fences so plan accordingly. In back yards I use little force at all. Open fields/beaches I can use my body to launch the ball incredibly far. I use 2 & teach my dog/s; as they bring 1 back I load ball 2 & wait. Dog drops ball as approaching so it rolls right to me, doesn’t break stride as I launch ball 2 in opposite direction. Keeps dogs in constant full out run. Also impresses gathering audience/s of tourists. My dogs love it: a tired dog is a happy human. A tired dog has no energy left over to act out.Regular interactive play requiring working together builds bond & also keeps dog in good shape to increase muscle mass & reduce stress on elbows/hips/spine. Also reduces stress/depression in humans (no one ever cries at a puppy park: used to send my therapeutic clients to puppy parks). This tool makes tails twerk: theirs AND yours. Go twerk your tail feather today!

My Wife Loves her Chuckit!
Every time we take our pup to the park, we end up playing fetch with her because she’s such a “ball dog.” You know the type: hyper, jumpy, crankin’ around in circles begging for attention. She’s a good girl, but needs to get the willys out each morning. So my wife will take her each morning to the nearby park where they have off-leash hours for the dogs. My dog (I won’t name her here in order to protect her identity) used to love playing with every single dog in the park, but then she turned 3 years old and she started to get a little picky about who she liked and who she would play with.My wife had the idea to bring a favorite ball of hers to the park each morning, but that sort of backfired because certain jerk dogs would come over and snatch the ball from her. Let me be honest… she’s only SORT OF a ball dog. She will lose track of it and then look at me sideways, probably angry that I let some dirty german shepherd steal her favorite ball. So okay, sue me… she’s not a TRUE ball dog, but she does like balls. But let me tell you how much I hate the negotiation with some crappy dog owner who’s unaware that their dog stole my dog’s ball. It sucks to have to wander up to some dude who’s vaping while talking to another unaware dog owner about “the big game last night” and try to get him to get his dog to give the ball back all while your dog is just following you around. That’s not exercise. So my wife came home the other day and she started complaining about how her hands always get so dirty and disgusting playing fetch with our dog. “Just picking it up off the ground makes your hands super gross! Plus in the rain or snow, it makes your hands even worse.” So I thought to go on Amazon and find something that could help her. Thank God I found the Chuckit Sport Launcher! This is the slightly smaller one that’ll fit in your wife’s “dog bag” as she calls it. But the genius thing is not really the Chuckit’s launching ability, but it’s a clean picker-upper of the ball. No more dirty hands! And no more complaints by your beloved every morning after off-leash hours are over. The Chuckit is a win-win.

Great purchase, except if you lose the ball
I have a shoulder injury, and a ball-chasing obsessed dog so a ball launcher is a requirement for me. My dog chewed my last one so I thought I’d go for a bigger one this time. While it is great and I take it to the park with me every time we go, the challenge is the ball size. I took it to the beach and the current took the ball out to sea. I have regular sized tennis balls at home, and to my dismay they don’t quite work right with this chuckit. I had to figure out how to throw it sideways because the standard sized ball bobbles as you throw it and doesn’t seem to go as far. You can buy replacement balls that are the right size for this one of course, but I have all the standard sized ones around the house so seems like a waste. If you’re not in a place to lose the ball, or don’t mind replacement balls, this is a great option.

Loving it
Best thing that has ever happened to my Dutch Shepard that is obsessed with playing fetch!

Don’t have to touch slobbery balls
I love this not just to throw my dogs’ balls far but also to pick them up more easily. I don’t have to bend down and touch the gross ground or ball.

Good quality
Good quality. Durable and not flimsy at all. Ball is held in the cup tightly but is easy enough to get out when chucking the ball. Highly recommend this game for high energy dogs that love to fetch and run!

So easy to use!
My pup and I love this product. I can throw further with this product, meaning she can run and play longer. Highly recommend this for any and all dog owners! Ergonomic and easy on the arm/shoulder

Best dog toy ever.
Watching my little girl run like the wind chasing balls that I could never throw naturally without this gadget is a joy I never thought I’d know.

26″ Length Sport Launcher
The 26″ Length Sport Launcher will fit the large red or black Kong balls. And this thing throws them a lot farther than I can on my own. Plus the Kong balls make a cool whistling sound when you launch them. My bully loves itAlso, not having to grab a drool soaked ball with my hands is really nice

I am thinking of buying the upper model
My dog literally lives for this plastic stick. When I take the ball, he’s like “ok.. we gonna play, cool”. When I take the ball and this stick, he’s jumping everywhere already. I will probably buy the next model for him to go even further :p

great as usually from chuck it
throws far enough to warrant its small size I find its small size better then the big one while handling two dogs on leash , carrying this small thrower is more convenient for me
