Very, very thin Terry cloth material.
I just received these dish cloths. The Terry cloth is so thin and loosely woven they are see through. I bought them because I like the bright colors they are cotton, not so over sized. I’m hoping the weave tightens up after being washed.

They do the job
The way these arrived was so strange. They had no packaging, except for what they were shipped in, no tags, not anything. I thought that was a bit odd, but they did arrive, and they do the job. They work well washing dishes, but washing down counters is another thing. They leave a lot of water behind, so they aren’t good for washing surfaces in my opinion. I really only needed them for hand washing dishes, so they work for me.

I love the vibrant colors of these wash clothes, I have washed them in the laundry now twice (on cold) and they are just as vibrant as the day I got them in the mail. I will be ordering more of these.They are so worth the money

Needed new rags and these so the trick!
The packaging is as non existent so you can’t really gift this product but they were very reasonably priced and look great in my kitchen! I can’t speak to the durability yet as I’ve only washed them once but they look like they will hold up and do what I need them to do.

Love them. Perfect size. Absorbent. Don’t fray in Wash – Updated after ordering again HORRIBLE!
This was my first review after receiving my first set of dishcloths: I have a hard time finding an absorbent terry dishrag because they are all too thick and big for cleaning up the kitchen counter, wiping the floor and for spreading body soap over my body. I use these for everything and will continue to. I wash them in a full cup of OxiClean and in hot water and they haven’t been fraying at all and it’s but even if they do 8 months or a year from now, they are easy to purchase again and inexpensive. No problems thus far and I’ve had them for months now.Updated review after ordering again: this seller is not doing quality control checks because I ordered 2 sets of dishcloths and they came packaged differently and a horrible quality. They were flimsy, with threads loose and you can even see through them. I now know how it is possible one person can write a positive review and another a very poor review. No consistency in quality. Look at new cloths I got on the right compared to what I received on the first order on the left

Love my new dishrags
These were bought on superduper deal and boy, I’m glad I got them!They are absorbent and do a fabulous job of scrubbing without scratching.They wash and dry nicely and don’t seem to hold odor.. although I dry them before tossing into a basket. They haven’t stained but for some coffee my husband cleaned up but didn’t rinse out before hiding the evidence. I will buy this brand again

Like the color
You cannot get many dishcloths for this price that have any heft to them. I have been using these cloths for a little over a month now. Color-wise they are just what I wanted since I see few offerings in plain white. They were a little stiff at first but I washed them before using and that helped a bit. They were not as absorbent the first use, but each successive washing has made them more absorbent. Knowing that fiber finishes are often like that I was not at all surprised. They seem durable and as well made as most items these days. The texture is nice and is helpful for scrubbing stubborn areas. I am older and can recall when soft goods lasted years and years, but those days have long passed! As for color, the gray goes nicely in the kitchen. As much as I prefer to bleach towels and washcloths, I will not be bleaching these as the gray is dark. I would not expect them to keep their color. I do, however, wash them. in hot water and dry in the dishwasher. As expected, they do shrink a bit but they are comparable in size to my old cloths. All in all I consider them a good value.

Good for my purpose
I was searching for lint free cotton cloths to use as oiling “rags” for seasoning my cast iron skillets. I can’t remember what link I selected on Google but it led to a Cast Iron Pan forum that had a link to these, The guy that posted it said he ordered these specifically for “seasoning his cast iron skillets”. Ironically, I’d already placed the black pack of these in my cart while his link led to the gray ones. I received them today and I’ll say this:I noticed several reviews complaining about lint. Most mentioned nothing about pre-washing them before use as the instructions state (and most people would think) to do. I learned when my little brother (now 28 yo) was 4yo to shake out clothes before putting them into the washer and dryer. Otherwise, not only will the washer and dryer be filled with lint, but sand/dirt, snails, worms, nails, grass, and sea shells or rocks and more. Simply shaking the towels out (with a hard pop) released whatever lint was there from what I saw as there was NO LINT in my washer or dryer. There were 3-5 strings dangling coming out the dryer which wasn’t a big deal, especially if you know that “burning string” instead of simply cutting will stop/keep it from unraveling.Yes, they are a bit thin but not that thin to not be usable for about 6-months if bleach (which breaks down cotton/ materials, like mops) isn’t used. There are many other laundry disinfectants that don’t eat clothes. Anyway, I’ve seasoned and wiped my cast iron skillets with one and it left minimal lint. Even the lil lint may be due to my use of (solid) lard instead of (oil) flaxseed. It still was a great job considering the lint paper towels leave behind. I figure they’ll be at their best once broke in.Honestly, don’t understand most of the reviews complaining about strings, lint, thinness, etc. Apparently, you’ve shopped at Dollar Tree and Dollar General to know what you can get there so why complain like you’re not use to using the same quality, if not less than what you received from here.

Dollar Store Quality
These towels are thinner than I thought they would be. For the price I was expecting them to have a thicker pile. I’m keeping them because I just need them for wiping up the counter. But beware, they are about the same quality you’d get at the dollar store.

Good size and absorbency
These are good dish rags for the price. They aren’t so thick that they’re difficult to use or hold too much water. They launder well and haven’t unraveled at all after months of use and repeated washing. I don’t know how long they’ll hold up, but for the price, they seem like a good deal.

These are Dish Rags, Not Dish Towels
I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions. These are not kitchen towels that you would use to dry dishes; they’re what we used to refer to as “dish rags.” Dish rags were all the rage in the mid-20th century. Mom used them to wipe counters, clean pots and pans, and wash our faces before and after sitting down to supper–and she didn’t always rinse them out between uses! Then along came cellulose sponges and they stole the show for the next fifty years. Well, guess what? Dish rags are back, baby! I was annoyed when I opened the package and realized I’d ordered the wrong thing, but since draping one of these little beauties over my kitchen faucet, housework has become a breeze! Counter top spill? Grab the dish rag! Runny mascara? Dish rag to the rescue! Cat throw up on the carpet? It’s dish rag a-go-go! I only gave it four stars because I really wanted dish towels.

Wrong item delivered – twice…
As a dishcloth, the item is fine…However, like other items in this product line, the pattern is supposed to be a “windowpane” with alternating cloths of predominantly white or “wine” color.The first shipment contained dishcloths that were solid wine. A replacement set arrived the same. Both sets were contained in packaging that described the sets correctly as “windowpane” – so I assume the problem is with the manufacturer/distributor rather than Amazon itself.Another set in the same order for “grey” was correct.Not a big deal – but not what I wanted…

Worth it
I’ve seen a lot of reviews of people giving a star or two. I like to consider the value for the price when I review. Are they high end and super absorbent that will last awhile? No. For the price though they will sure do the job. Great to keep around to grab real quick for a job or cleanup and the benefit of the cheap price isnsometime I just throw them out after I use for something that I just know will never get very clean looking again. They do get some loose strings a little more than I’d like but oh well.

OK so just to be perfectly honest here it was definitely my fault for not noticing these were washcloth and not dish towel size. However they are definitely the very absorbent type of cotton soft feel and we’ve that you expect of a kitchen towel. So in that respect, definitely highly recommend. The red is really red
REVISED RATING! I love red, don’t get me wrong, but this is redder than a fire engine. However they look great since I love red. I had given only 2 stars because they’re so thin, but I’ve already used 2 since then and find there are many advantages I did not see at first sight and feel. The thinness does not prevent them from cleaning well. As a matter of fact, for my small hands it’s a definite advantage since I don’t have a a bulky cloth to manage. I can also rinse and squeeze more water out after each use. And of course, they’re dry in no time at all when hanging on their sink hook. I recommend especially for the very low price. No point in a photo because they’re true to the Amazon illustration. In this case what you see is really what you get + a bit more.

Not as vibrant color as pictured
Not as vibrantly colored as pictured . I would have gone with different color if I knew that. Haven’t used yet, arrived today, but seem like decent quality, no stringers or sewn wrong on hems. I’ll try different color next time. Decent price when comparing, similar to Walmart brand quality. I just wanted some color with all the time I spend in the kitchen.Update after washing a couple times and using. I wish the terry was more fluffy to help scrub dishes easier. I won’t buy these again. I think I’ll just spend the extra couple bucks to buy the ones Fred Meyer (Kroger) carries and they have pretty colors too.
