Not up to par for tall ladies
Was really hoping this vest would be longer. It wasn’t flattering on my tall frame and crept up in the back. Sadly had to return. My husband does love the quality in their men’s line as they create tall pieces.

Very cute if you like loose fit
So this jacket is cute but beware- the collar is a NOT grey on the black. I don’t know about warmth yet but I sized up to a 2x and I’m happy could easily fit a hoodie under which is what I wanted. Minus one star for not being like pictured and another because the fit is a little odd (lots of room in the chest).

Poor quality
Although super cute the quality is lacking. This is extremely light weight and not warm at all. Definitely more for looks vs warmth. After only 1 wear the seam on inside shell is unraveling. Definitely not worth the price. I have a $30 vest from Kohls that is much warmer and 100% better quality.

Great for use inside a cold house
This wouldn’t keep me warm outside, but it works really nicely indoors so that a space heater that dries out the air doesn’t have to be used. Very thin and light weight which is nice for indoors.

Great vest
This is my second one of these vests and I love them. I have had to see the toggles string before but now I wash my vest inside out so they toggles don’t get as much damage in the wash.

Love this vest!
This is a great vest! It fits me well as I am rather curvy. It’s lightweight but still keeps me warm without the bulk. Great pockets too! I like that it is not too puffy; I don’t feel that I’m wearing “balloons” all over me – too puffy jackets feel that way to me. I bought the olive green one and I hope that it will last a considerable time.

Love it excellent purchase
I love all of the Whitetails womans wear I have purchased to date. The vest is very light bur warm. It is not “flattering,” but I didn’t buy it because I thought it’d be flattering. I bought a larger size for comfort and that is what I received! Excellent vest well worth the $’s I paid. I wish they had more jackets available to buy. I have purchased 2 so far and love the both. I highly recommend the vest for any woman who like me is enjoys the earthy style. If not buy a smaller size and show the curves.

Different lining
The quality seemed nice, HOWEVER, immediately upon opening, I noticed the lining was not the same as pictured. The vest I received has a pink plaid lining, but it’s pictured with a blue lining. Also, it’s a very soft black, almost navy blue. Next to black, it looks blue. But next to blue it looks black. It was also very small. I’m a medium, 36 bust size 8, and this was quite snug on me with nothing more than a button down shirt beneath. I had to send it back.

Puffy
A little puffier than I usually like and a little big. Not sure if a size down would have fit my shoulders and still zip, so I had to return. Loved the flannel from this company though!

HUGE Buttons are unnecessary and UGLY
Love the color, the fit, the lining, the pink zipper which perfectly matches the vest color. I literally love everything about this vest EXCEPT the BUTTONS… and that one detail ruined it for me. The buttons are 2.5 inches long!!! They’re unnecessarily HUGE. Also, they’re a light tan color, a color which doesn’t match the vest whatsoever. And they’re attached to the vest with a tan colored jute cord (which is an uncomfortable fiber to have on the front of your vest where your arms will be brushing against it). And jute fiber cords are the type that will start fraying in various places, so that it will feel like little splinters are sticking into your skin when your skin rubs against the front. So uncomfortable!The triangle-shaped patches (which are used to secure the jute to the vest) are a deep chocolate-brown color. That chocolate-brown color looks good with the vest. If the buttons and cord matched the chocolate-brown colored triangles, it might look cohesive enough to be attractive.But they don’t match, and they’re just plain ugly. And I cannot (for the life of me) understand why the buttons are even attached, considering that the zipper alone would have been effective, sufficient, and kept vest as a sleeker more attractive & versatile design. 🤷♀️

Quilted vest
Very attractive. That is the only reason I am not returning it. It is more of a windbreaker than anything else. I will be using it on cool evenings in the summer. It certainly is not warm enough to wear as a winter vest. Very disappointed as I was needing warm clothing. If you are looking for warmth, do not buy this vest.

EVEN CUTER THAN PICTURED
I got this pink vest today (Size L: I usually wear a 10-12 in shirts. Or a L or XL if I want a pull-over top to be looser. I am 38″ bust and weigh 136 lbs.) The vest appears to be well-made and the pink is a “dusty” color (opposed to bright.) I love the toggles and the collar (plaid lining.) I can’t wait to wear it. Good value for the price. Highly recommend this vest.

Follow the size measurement chart
If you follow the chart by measuring your body the vest will fit comfortably. Weight doesn’t matter for fit, only proportions matter. I am so glad I followed the chart. If you want to layer it with a thick sweater, size up. This is an excellent vest if you live in a climate that doesn’t get below 40 degrees in the winter. It is thin, stylish and comfortable. I agree with most that the inside collar should be a solid neutral color not plaid and that the pockets are not useful to secure anything. Outside of that it is a very fashionable vest and is excellent for camping, hiking or general walking around.

Very cute vest! Worth a try
This is a nice quality vest for the price point. Its is meant to be a layering piece so in our very mild So Cal winters, it is perfectly adequate over a mid weight top. I would put a coat on over it in weather below 50 degrees. I think it is true to size in that I checked the size chart, ordered a medium and it fit as expected. I wear a 36D bra. I am 5’4 and it hits at my hip – shorter than I hoped. The toggle buttons add a cute touch as well as the army green on the inside. It has great details that make it look well made.

Cute vest!
Randomly came upon this vest while searching for some outdoor gear and it’s so cute! I opted for a medium (small probably would’ve fit too), but I wanted a bit more room for a jacket/sweatshirt underneath and it fits well (5’4″, 130lbs). It is definitely warm and durable so far (not that I’m off-roading too much). Love the bead and hemp features as that adds so much more to the vest. Cute flannel pattern on the neckline is super soft. Go for it and get it and it will serve you for fall/winter to come for years!

Fit is not true to size
I don’t typically write reviews, but have mixed feelings about this product, it runs a bit small. The overall look is nice and the quality seems to be pretty good, the fit just isn’t true to size. If I had ordered one size bigger, I would probably be very happy with it.

Lovely vest!
Absolutely lovely vest BUT runs very small. I wanted some looseness so could wear a sweater underneath. Wonderful soft, silky fabric. It seems to be more decorative than provide warmth in cold weather. Very nice details with toggles, zipper, and snaps down front and opening. Deep nice pockets.Ordered an XL which seemed like a 10-12.

I actually loved the vest but it was too small so I ordered a size up and it was too small as well. It doesn’t have any stretch to it. It is well made just may want to size up one or two sizes.

Athletic, 5’6″ 135 lbs, 34B. I liked the idea of this vest but there are a few things that could be better. First, it runs a little big, in my opinion, which is abnormal for this company size everything else I’ve ordered runs on the small side. This may be intentional by design so that you can layer under it since it is a light weight vest, however, I think it makes me look thicker than I am. I also didn’t care for the toggles. They wood toggle itself it really cute and so is the little triangle of fabric used to affix the twine to the jacket. This is where I have the issue, the twine seems cheap to me and that after a few washes they might break. I am still deciding whether I will just be returning this or exchanging for to try an extra small.

Really like this vest!
I normally wear a size small and was a little concerned when placing my order due to the variability in customer reviews on sizing. This came and was a little too large, but I guess that could be good for layering in cold weather. As far as quality, I love it! I took this vest on a hiking trip to Gatlinburg, TN. The pockets are deep enough that I did not have to worry about anything falling out of them when I hiked. I think one of the big hooks came undone once or twice the entire time I was hiking, and since there is a zipper as well, this wasn’t a big issue. The vest itself is warm and cozy. I really like this vest, and the only reason it is 4 instead of 5 starts is that it is a little too large for me.

My favorite Clothing
I love this vest! I feel so cute in it and I’ve even gotten a compliment! I’ve worn it hiking multiple times and it keeps me very warm. I was worried my arms would be uncomfortable given that they’re not covered in a vest form, but it keeps my core warm enough that it isn’t a concern. My only issue is that two of button rope fasteners pulled away from the seam my first time wearing it. Not long after, the third fell apart. I see it up and it is slowly working it’s way loose again so I might just have to do without fastening them in the future

I love this vest. The details of the zipper and clasps are flattering. The extra added flannel around the inside of the collar makes it really comfortable. Size is spot on. I’d give it a 5 but would like it more if it were just a bit warmer and the pockets deeper.

Absolutely Loved It But….
So I am pear shaped. Generally wear a large in tops to fit my larger hips versus smaller chest. This BEAUTIFUL vest (so nice my husband even commented on it) is fitted for someone with a more balanced hip/chest ratio. On me, it was snug across my hips but loose and gapping at the chest. If you have a closer hip:chest ratio than I do, buy it. You won’t be sorry.

Love the look of this vest! It’s warm! It is a bit tight, though! I bought the medium in the burgundy and it was way too tight and had to send it back even though it was my favorite color! Then got the black in large, which works, but is still a bit tight depending on what I put under it. I just love the wooden toggles though, so I bought the green one in extra large and love the fit! So go bigger if you are in doubt. And don’t be like me and try to make it fit just because you like the color! This vest is really cute no matter which color it is! It’s very versatile as far as mixing it with flannel shirts, turtleneck sweaters, jeans, corduroys, boots, etc. And I live in Michigan, so it’s important to me to layer! This is a WIN-WIN! Cute and Warm!

They need to update the picture for the black vest.
I bought this vest a couple years ago and I love it! I was trying to order a second black vest because it is one of my favorite things to wear when it starts to cool off. I ordered the black vest but sent it back because it has a different color collar lining then the one in the picture. The collar is a pink plaid not a light blue. I explained the color issue in my return and asked for a replacement that matched the one advertised in the picture. The second one they sent was the same pink plaid lined vest not the blue lined vest that is advertised. They need to update the picture of the black vest so you know what your ordering.
