Good solid phone
Battery isn’t as long as you would think, maybe a day battery with full screen use. Charging speed is great. Camera is better then i thought (4k). Phone is fast. No sd card slot, there’s plenty of storage on the phone.

Awesome Battery Life
Best phone I’ve had. Bought it for battery life, and I could stretch it to 3 days if needed. Wanted a fast phone (no problems there), ideally waterproof (just in case), good camera (it’s decent, and has some of the Android photo tricks in it). No regrets.

An Amazing Phne
I’ll keep this brief. It’s a great phone at $399 brand new. It’s snappy, loud speakers, incredibly fast charging, more durable than most phones, excellent security features, good reception, and feels good in the hand. Some knock on the camera, but it’s definitely as good as my last phone. I was either going to buy an older refurbished or used phone, chose this and no regrets. Should last for a few years.

Fast, reliable, rugged, and great price!
Wow…. I havent had a Motorola phone in 10 years, but their nearly stock android is great!This phone is noticeably faster than my wife’s pixel 8 pro, had better battery, and can charge from 0% – 80% in 20 minutes.Pixel still beats this phone when it comes to the camera, but the cameras aren’t they bad! On par with my S22.Overall, incredibly happy.

Great Phone! Better than I expected. Missing only 2 things…
I dropped my pretty new Samsung s23 ultra on a jobsite and cracked the screen bad. replacement screen for my color phone is not available. so I needed a new phone. I had this one overnight’ed to me. I got a case that looked like it would be the most protective. and i set it up to use as a temp phone. I have been very impressed! so far it’s been awesome.Pro’s: – Incredible battery life – smooth operation (it is fast and responsive), – flat screen (no useless curved edges) – crisp screen with good colors, – good cameras (not the single best out there, but still very good), – handy, light weight, easy to set up and use. – ‘Ready For’!!! holy cow, they did it right! better than Dex, better than old continuum, single best phone to PC user interface i have seen. fast, smooth, and so extremely useful!!! when I’m in the office it is great for sharing pics and contacts and websites between devices, it is brilliant! probably the most understated feature of the phone. the ‘Windows 365’ for large corporations and such is lost on most of the world, but most basic users can really benefit from the ‘Mobile Desktop’ mode. it’s awesome!Con’s: it is only missing 2 things.1: stylus. Motorola already has a stylus phone, they have the technology, should have put it with this phone, or maybe used the surface protocol so when you have a surface pen you can use it on the phone too. really a huge benefit that not enough manufacturers offer. marking up pictures precisely, finite controls with something smaller than the tip of my finger. stylus is huge and should be an option on the next iteration.2: micro-SD card. I know all the phone companies think we live next to a cell tower and have 5 bars all the time, but that is not true. in the mountains the signal strength is always changing. it is so much better to have room to store important file on the phone that you can rely on being there, and plenty of them without have to wonder if you will run out of room. that would make all newer phone better. cloud storage is awesome, but it’s not always as accessible as the commercials indicate. local storage is a must. and being able to have more would give this device an advantage over all the rest of the phones that don’t offer it anymore.3: More case options. The case that comes with it is a joke. It needs a good rubbery Otterbox defender style case. I have not seen one yet.In short, I really like this phone, the Ready For is so useful that there is a good chance that I will not go back to my Samsung after it is fixed.If this phone had a stylus, it would be no competition, ThinkPhone for the win!If it had a stylus and micro sd card slot, it would be just that much better.

Has bluetooth Hearing aid ASHA streaming Protocol
I can confirm that this Motorola Thinkphone has ASHA protocol and can direct stream to bluetooth enabled hearing aids without the need of a separate streamer device. Our Samsung Galaxy A14 5G (also Android 13) cell phones did not have this protocol and would not pair to my new Philips bluetooth hearing aids. Also our Samsung cell phones had very weak WiFi reception and we could not use WiFi calling in the bed rooms of our house. Wife and I each had the Galaxy A14s, She took over our sons old bedroom and had WiFi calling issues back there. This Motorola Thinkphone is fantastic! WiFi is super strong all over the house with consistent download speeds of 169 Mbps in every corner of the house including the wife’s girl cave, for reference I get 180 Mbps standing in front of the router in the living room. The fingerprint reader is part of the screen and so far has worked perfectly. The fingerprint readers built in to the power button on the side of my other cell phones (Galaxy A14) never worked consistently. Also the volume levels go louder on the Motorola Thinkphone than the Samsung Galaxy A14 or my Oneplus Nord N200, that’s also great for a person thats hard of hearing.

Good with a few issues
Very slippery phone Think Phone 2023. If you have dry hands this things will slide out. The case that comes with it is still slippery and its really slim protecting just the edges really. The aftermarket for cases is dismal. You have a couple choices only. Lenovo will force download the Microsoft suit. I tried to stop it but it kept fighting me. I had to uninstall them. This isn’t uncommon for Lenovo as my Edge 2022 got forced to download games. I really wish Moto would relax a bit and stop with all this forced downloading programs and all in your face with trying to assist you with everything. I thought it was a secure business phone but to me if the phone takes off and doesn’t things on its own like dl’ing programs thats not so secure to me. I happen to not want it on my phone

Great near-flasgship performance and bang for the buck with very little bloat.
I really like this phone. Great battery life, very little software bloat. In screen fingerprint reader works very reliably, overall a very competitive phone. Extra points for the Thinkpad-esque styling and branding. 5G, including 5G UW, working great with Verizon in the USA.

A WHOLE LOT of phone for $400
Pros:-Tough but elegant build quality-Bright, large, and colorful high quality display-Snappy response and powerful processor-Motorola security features-Insane battery life and charging speed-Great for gamingCons:-The current software update has made the phone wake screen respond in 2-4 seconds. (This is a con which will most likely be fixed with a future software update)-Camera is not on the S23 ultra level, but it gets the job done. With good lighting, you’ll get some good shots with this phone.*A picture I took with the phone attached.

Bad Experience
The phone is good the price amazing, I live in Greece so it was an international order very fast delivery but I ordered a brand new phone and Amazon send it in an opened box probably it is a returned item. Amazon answered that they are very sorry and they will try not to happen this again.

Awesome Phone
Motorola has made a come back with this one, the last great moto phone was the Droid and I have suffered for years waiting on Motorola to bring out another awesome phone. now if you are a Verizon user, yes it will work on the Verizon network and if you work for Verizon please make a note of this since no one at Verizon could tell me if it would work. But it does.

It’s a really good cell phone. The only thing I didn’t like is that they put in the same box a hair product that I ordered that same day and the product opened and spread all over the box, staining the cell phone box.

Near stock android phone that looks and feels good
The phone is great and is near stock android as it gets. The minor additions that Motorola does are actually good for a change. Also the customization is deep, really deep and you can get lost and forget what time it is fixing it to how you like.Pros:-security-battery life lasted a full workday with 68% of constant use-customization-pc integration-camera is not the best but really good, good enough if you just want to capture a good moment-setup was the easiest to do with all changes and transferring took 10 minutes about 90GB of dataCons:-no micro SD card, really , who decided this. If it had it, this would be a near perfect phone.-not the fastest responding but its quick enough that you will not notice unless you have OCD and notice every small thing.TL;DR:You already know if you want this but want reassurance. Camera is good, software good, looks clean but has no microsd card

Strictly Business
This phone is strictly Business. Not designed for but certainly capable of games and media but mostly for people who want a competent phone with a minimum of bloatware and features. Solid construction and hardened electronics. Camera is average compared to Apple or Samsung, but again this phone is not targeted at the premium crowd. The 5G LTE radio is excellent. Saw 768Mbps on TMobile 5G while moving in car. Excellent battery life.

Nice phone BUT Motorola in the USA is bait and switch! NOT DUAL SIM in the USA!
I’ve been a Motorola users for the past ten plus years and 7-8 phones. I needed a dual-SIM phone and this seemed like the greatest option on the market currently. Setup was a bit of a hassle, cloning everything over from my old Moto G took several attempts but after a few hours it did ‘most’ of it, only a few apps and conversations lost. However! When I went in to swap my SIMs the SIM tray is only open on one side, the other is partly blocked! A call to Motorola had the expected results, they offered NO solution and claimed their own website said single SIM, even though I was on the site staring at the words ‘DUAL NANO SIM’! I wish I knew if the dual SIM tray would actually function, because I can buy that elsewhere. Otherwise this huge disappointment will be returned…

Buy it now!!Pros:Very fast and smooth. Flagship sd8+gen1 is fantastic. Doesn’t get hOt at all even after an hour of C.O.D. Set it on 144 htz and Enjoy the experienceREALLY GOOD CAMERAS..The front camera is better than my pixel 7. 4k30 or 1080p/60 up front as well. 4k60 rear.SLIM AND LIGHT..188 grams is barley noticable in my pocket. The pixel 7 is a tank next to thinkphone and think has a much larger screen. I took this skiing and it doesn’t flop around at all. I’ll never buy a heavy phone again. So nice!RIDICULOUSLY TOUGH CONSTRUCTION..The thinkphone has a drop rating. Who does this? The frame is so solid. Seriously you could pound nails with this. Don’t need a case. Great Phone for the price!
Had LG V60 which I loved. Wanted a new phone that was powerful and had a good battery life. Bought for 400 and very happy. For a time when most “flagship” phones are over $1000 you get a lot of bang for your buck. Battery life is solid with 5000mAh which is what I had on the V60. Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 is not top of the line but very close being release in 2022. No curved screen which is a plus for me. 50mp camera which seems good to me but I personally don’t take a lot of pictures. Just a very solid powerful phone without a ton of bells and whistles. Also comes with a 68 watt charger which charges the phone extremely fast. So far I have been receiving updates as well. Take advantage of Motorola/Lenovos poor marketing and get a great phone for a good price.

Incredible phone even at full price.
I have had the Motorola Z series phone and finally gave up my Moto Z4 since the battery gave out. I purchased the Think Phone due to the reported ruggedness. It is a perfect size and slim. Not having a glass back is one less thing to break.The processor is fast and the Ready For Link with my laptop is amazing. The camera is quality for my use with everyday photos.The included quick charger is a nice tough. Other companies would easily ask for another 60 bucks. Thank you Motorola for the added charger. The included case is a nice touch too.Motorola offers accident protection and promises 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates. Total win.The only thing missing is a replaceable battery. If it has that, it would be the perfect phone.Buy it, you will love it.

you get what you pay for and more
i went from a 2019 moto g power to this 2023 thinkphone and i could not be more pleased. has all the modern cellphone conveniences plus a good range of security options like disabling microphone and/or camera access on the device. the charger it ships with charges super fast, the charge lasts a long time, and i’m also happy with the light phone case it shipped with. i’m excited to get a thinkpad laptop and check out the connectivity.

It’s slick and slow, but it works
First and foremost this phone and it’s included case are slicker than snot. Get an aftermarket case and avoid the nuisance of this thing sliding off every angled surface. It is too slick to hold in one hand.Next, the light sensor is built into the upper left hand side of the screen. When you have a call in progress, the call progress timer is displayed in that exact location. Which means when you try to return to your call in progress, the screen goes black. It’s more than a minor annoyance which forces me to swipe down from the top of the screen to then tap the call in progress.Regarding battery life, after a year, mine lasts almost a full 8 hour work day. I can’t say I’m disappointed as I use my phone for various business tasks, including email, phone calls and text messages.System speed seems a bit sluggish. Specifically, when I’m trying to adjust the volume, it takes the phone more than a second to show the volume bar on the right hand side after I press the volume up or down button.When I’m taking pictures I have the give the phone a little extra time to make sure it has saved the photo before I switch to a different app. I’ve found on multiple occasions that my photos were not getting saved if I switched too quickly. Photo quality is wonderful!Stability has been impressive. What the phone lacks in responsiveness it makes up for in stability. The majority of the time the phone works. Even after dropping it multiple times due to the case being too slick to hold with one hand.The “Ready For” software for file sharing and screen casting is Windows only. Suppose I’m not surprised, a gimmick it is.I have yet to figure out a good use for the red button, other than making it launch the camera for a selfie.The phone itself can definitely handle being dropped. Definitely had held up to some abuse. Very impressed.

Finally a Moto phone with extended support
Three more years of updates coming. Flagship, with large storage capacity and excellent cellular reception. Nothing else can touch it at this price. Need to order cases directly from Asia.Update: just drop tested it from 16,000 feet above Portland, Oregon on a 737 Max 9. Passed with flying colors.

Awesome phone for the price.
Picked this up on sale for $399 is an absolute steal at anything under $500. The fast charging and battery life on it are incredible. Even the camera which many people claim to be the weakest part of the phone is more than acceptable and seems to have been improved through software updates. Very happy with it and it blows away my Pixel 7 Pro that it replaced.

Large screen, nice colors, works fast, face unlock works as fast as on iphone, huge bettery, almost pure android, carbon back, so case not needed, gesture for open flaslight. Free MS office for those who need it. Nice processor and price, red button to open any app, fingerprint sensor unlocks 100% through screen protector, everything for comfortable use is here, impressed. Not disappointed!
Everything came as expected and I love the battery life! The Ready For features are great, especially with digital nomad living. The only downside so far is that this is not dual sim, or at least the USA version I got is not dual sim.

Love it!! Just a note on this particular model
Couldn’t be happier!! Huge thinkpad fan and this phones build quality is on par. International delivery only took 5 days. Best value for money phone currently available as far as I’m concerned.Something to keep in mind is that this particular model is not the dual sim version. It’s a single sim phone. It’s correctly noted on the spec sheet but it can be a bit confusing as most other sites and internet reviews list the Thinkphone as a dual sim.Still worth it for the price and a well deserved 5 stars!!

Liked it so much I bought a second one
I bought the first one to replace Pixel 7a which I hated for about the same price. Liked it so much decided to buy a second one to replace my wifes Pixel 7. This phone feels premium for $400 this phone is a must buy. It’s Light weight screen looks amazing and battery is awesome. I’ve been a Motorola fan for a while but skiped past gen for an iPhone SE and then I was looking for an android. I recommend this phone at$400 I honestly doubt you’ll find a better deal at this price.

Unexpectedly Incredible
I will keep this short and sweet because those who care already know the specs. I’m a nerd who buys a few phones a year. This phone is so good that after day one I’m already considering buying a second to keep for the inevitable of this being “refurbished only” in a year or two. I hope they continue with the ThinkPhone. I am really impressed.
