I bought these for my son for Christmas last year. It was a new and exciting bath experience. He loves to reuse the plastic bottles too during bath time.

Honest review – no fizz but lots of fun
Honestly theses don’t fizz as many other reviewers found, the only sort of bubble when the powder touches water. Regardless they are still a ton of fun, my daughter mostly enjoyed mixing the colors to change the bath water. The bottles are super cute and very reusable so you still get hours of play even after you’ve used all of the powder. I would still highly recommend these and will definitely be buying more. I only took off one star because they don’t necessarily work as advertised.

Ordered 2 but one was missing items
I bought 2 of the 4 packs. One package came correct, one came with only 1 of the 4. Returning the one with missing pieces.

Awesome but they need to sell refills
These put bath bombs to shame. They keep on fizzing for awhile and make a lot of color. My kid hasn’t liked baths for awhile, and this fixed that problem. I only wish they sold refills of the powder. It’s really environmentally irresponsible to keep buying the plastic flasks full of powder.**Update: we mixed 2 parts baking soda, 1 part each cornstarch, citric acid, epsom salts(not needed), and Mr Bubble powder bath (not needed) and a couple packs of bath crackles (not needed) and pour a little from our giant jar into the flasks each bath with a fizzy color tablet. Works exactly like came in them, pretty cheap, minimal effort, but I can reuse the plastic. I still think Mr Bubbles should sell refill mix in big bottles with a funneling spout to pour in because this could be easier and they could make money doing something to reduce plastic waste.

Awesome
These are like Pop Rocks, but for the bathtub. If you don’t know what Pop Rocks are, I pity you! My 4 year old son loves them and always requests them before bath time. They also make great bargaining chips for when he’s being a grump and won’t let mommy wash his hair. 🙄 I’d definitely recommend these.

So fun for kids during bath time
My 6yo is always pretending to make “potions” during his bath. I got these for his birthday and he loved them. These foamed perfectly once my son added water to the little bottles. He also loved the bottles to play with. I highly recommend them. I do wish that “refills” were more readily available without a lot of research to create them. FWIW, he usually uses the crazy foam soap in the bath. I ran out of that and the local stores were sold out, so this was my back up plan.

Makes Bath time Even More Fun
My sister bought this for my daughter as a gift and it became such a staple to bath time fun that it is now one of our subscribe and save items. She and her friends have used them in “experiments” as they pour water back and forth in various vessels and she uses them with toys in the tub as well as just throwing them in the tub as intended.

Anticlimactic
I was excited to get these for my son. He loves bath bombs. They advertised that they foam up out of tube when you add water. There was barely any reaction. We tried adding less water, shaking, etc… The only reason I’m not giving them one star is because they smell really good.

Disappointed
I don’t like doing reviews like this but seeing my 3 year old daughter’s disappointment when nothing happened 4 different times was devastating. Tried different water temperature, pouring it differently, nothing worked. Only reason it gets 2 stars is because she loved the tubes they came in and the fact that it made her bath water “funny colors.”

Lots of fun
My two grandchildren spend the night with me once or twice a week. I always have something for their bath time. This was a hit. I purchased four and used two each night. They were not bad about staining, either the tub or the boys. However, after the second time, I see they might not be interested in more. Fun while it lasted, and a good surprise, but nothing I would purchase repeatedly.

My 5 year old daughter is a huge fan. We have to limit how often she has them. On the off weeks she uses the past bottle for ‘potions’!

Crackle Popping Fun, But Too Expensive and Dye Too Harsh for Sensitive Skin!
These instantly start popping in water and also showcase several colors. This will dye water, so if your little one has sensitive skin, I would use a sense of caution. You could also use this when playing with water outside of the tub by placing in bowls. I removed one star because of the artificial coloring, but also another star due to the cost. These crackle and pop and were a big hit, but they are sooo short lived (only lasting a couple minutes or so per pack) that they seem overpriced for what you get. I wouldn’t buy again for this reason.

Skin reaction
We got this for the girls. They thought it was cool, but one has sensitive skin. Only some things bother her. This did, she broke out in a rash, but washed her off after and gave her some benadryl. If kids skin don’t get irritated easily it’s not bad.

These do exaclty what they claim. I was wondering if the popping would be too quiet to really be fun, but they’re actually quite loud.

Tiny Potions
These look really cool but are much smaller than I expected for the price. I was going to give them as a Christmas gift but seem more appropriate as a stocking stuffer. All 4 are boxed individually so it will work well to split between my two children. The size makes sense as a bath toy, but I guess I didn’t read the description carefully.

fun
I bought this set of 4 potions to use in Easter baskets for 2 five year olds. While there isn’t much to them, the kids did like them. They have fun using the bottles to play with in the bath and create new “potions” with body wash, bubble powders, broken off pieces of bath bombs, and even just water. All you do with these is add some water and watch the potion bubble up and spill over the bottle. Lots of fun for kids, although short lived. If you pick up some bubbling bath fizz, you can use that to recreate the potions because it bubbles up just the same. We have some Joon x Moon bubbling bath fizz that we used in these Mr Bubbles potion bottles and it works just the same as the Mr Bubbles did. I am sure there are other brands you could buy, too, to keep using the Mr Bubbles bottles and have the same effect and keep the fun going.

My daughter LOVES these. I refill them for her too.
My kiddo loves these and once the potion is gone, I take a regular bath bomb and grate it with a box grater to refill with more. Purchasing a second time today!

Lackluster—the little beakers are the best part
I was excited to get these for my daughter as she loves making potions in the tub. However, I was very disappointed with how them performed. We added the warm water and it did rise up and foam out a little. But that was really it. It smelled nice and turned the bath a bit of a color (our bath tabs do a better job of that), but that was it. I was hoping it would be more colored and foamy like it described, but no.On the upside, she loves the little beakers and they have become her later potion making containers.

Overpriced & Underwhelming
So…I thought these we would be something fun and different to do during bath time for my 1 and 5 year old but I was proven wrong. My 22 month old was super scared and panicked trying to jump out of the tub. The crackling doesn’t last long but it was enough to scare her. My 5 year old played with one packet and seemed to like it. Next bath time I asked if he wanted to play with a packet again, and he was indifferent. He asked what else they do besides crackle … he was underwhelmed by them. At $21 for only 12 packets that maybe crackle for 2-3 minutes, I think these are way overpriced. After the initial exposure to the first packet crackling the others are all the same, kind of boring with no wow factor. I will not be repurchasing, and I cannot recommend unless the price goes down under $15. Still gave 3 stars for novelty, packaging, didn’t irritate my children’s skin, quantity in each packet was decent for one bath, and the crackle pieces are colorful.

It’s okay
My daughter loves making potions in the bath so I though this would be a good purchase. For the money I would say it’s so so, nothing special about them other than novelty.

Nothing like Elephant Toothpaste
I recently purchased the Mr. Bubble Kids Bath Bomb Potions – Colorful Fizzy Fun – Cool Foam and Bubble Science Beaker for my children. While they weren’t exactly what we were expecting, we still had a lot of fun using them. The girls love bath bombs and bubbles so I was sure this would be a hit.The bath bombs did change color as they dissolved in the water, which my kids thought was really cool. The colors were bright and vibrant, which added a fun and playful element to their bath time. The beaker that the bath bombs came in was also a cute touch. It added to the “science experiment” vibe of using the bath bombs and my kids enjoyed playing with it and pretending to mix their own potions. However, the bath bombs didn’t produce as much foam and bubbles as we were expecting. We were hoping for a lot of fizz and bubbles, but they were a bit more understated.Overall, while the Mr. Bubble Kids Bath Bomb Potions weren’t exactly what we were expecting in terms of the amount of bubbles and foam, they did change color and the beaker was a cute touch. They added a fun and playful element to bath time and my kids enjoyed using them.

SUPER COOL!
My daughter loves using body soap to create “potions” in the shower so when I saw this I was extremely excited! The beakers are so cute.It was cool to watch her pour water and see the “volcano” like effect. The only downside is once you use one there’s no refill. I read somewhere that colorful bathbombs broken up into little pieces will have the same effect which is what I’m going to try. And once done with the beakers in the shower we can use for other things! If your debating about purchasing, just do it! Your child won’t be disappointed!

Irritated skin
My 5 year old daughter has never had a reaction to anything, until we used these. After a few minutes she complained that her skin was itchy and then shortly after her entire body was bright red. Not sure what exactly she was allergic to, but be aware that these may cause skin irritation.
