Love the versatility
We love this thing. We had a 2oz metal measuring tumbler, which was fine, but this one is sooo much easier to use. AND, I’ve had recipes calling for smaller amounts of liquid, and this will be perfect for that. The glass is a bit thick, and it has a nice weighty bottom, so it won’t tip easy, and probably won’t break if you drop it in the sink or on the counter. Great item.

NOT DISHWASHER SAFE
They do not warn you in the listing, but this is not dishwasher safe. One trip via the dishwasher and the measurement markings all disappeared. When I complained to the maker, they told me to take it up with Amazon. Nice customer service. I will pass on Oggi products in the future.

Measurement markings disappeared with FIRST wash
While it is recommended to wash the jigger by hand, I did put it in the dishwasher since it’s fairly sturdy glass. All markings disappeared, in spite of the description saying, “…permanent markings on the glass that will never fade or wear off.” I now have a tiny clear glass, but will have to find another decent shot glass with measurements. Should have read all of the reviews before purchase!

Print wears off after one use
Don’t bother buying this. I used the glass once, hand washed it. A couple of weeks later, pulled it out and the print indicating the measurements just wipes off from the outside of the glass, rendering it useless.

Print fades
This was great for measuring to meet cocktail recipes exactly but after a short time all the print faded. Some recipes call for quarter or half ounce or milliliters, and it was perfect. I’m really disappointed that measuring lines disappear with gentle use.

Measurements wash off
Bought this because it had measurements printed on it. Used it once, put it in the dishwasher, and the printing washed off. If you’re Ok with never washing this jigger, then it will work for you. It really doesn’t deserve one star.

Works great
This measuring cup works fine disregard other complaints about dishwashers because you should hand wash this. And washing works fine and I have not seen any fading in the print. A dishwashing is harsh on the printed ink but if you wash my hand is just fine, this this measuring cup is so small why would you need to put in the dishwasher anyways it’s so easy to clean.

DO NOT BUY – Measurements Wash Off
I have used this 4 times and handwashed it each time – still all of the printed measurements on the sides have washed off, leaving it useless in terms of measuring anything accurately. I contacted Oggi through the Amazon troubleshooting platform and they pretty much said it wasn’t their problem. Save yourself the time and money and buy something else.

How to prevent fading
I purchased this it and I am enjoying it so far. I read the lettering disappears after washing and this product is not dishwasher safe. I immediately polished on clear nail polish which helps seal the lettering. I also only wash by hand. So far so good

I love this measuring cup for its size. Great for adding small amounts of liquids without dirtying a full size measuring cup or going through multiple measuring spoons that tend to spill. My only wish is that it included tablespoon measurements, though not a deal breaker if you know how to convert to ounces.

After a few washes in the dishwasher these are no long properly legible for all of the markings. Its disappointing because other than that these would be a great tool for measuring smaller liquid amounts.

Not Great- Look Elsewhere
This item was purchased in June 2023. I have used it less than once per week for measuring cocktail recipes. It has always been gently hand washed or rinsed. However, the measurement indicators have already faded almost completely, rendering the glass nearly useless.I’m not sure what I expected, but I did not expect six months of very minimal use resulting in such rapid deterioration. I would recommend looking for an alternative that offers laser-etched, or raised measuring lines.

Cheap ink
I have used this twice—twice! And after washing it the numbers are almost completely gone. The ink is literally rubbing off onto my hands. Don’t waste your money on this.
