    Garbage!! Broke right away!!!

I wanted to love this, but after my first one broke within days of having it (and only using it a couple times) Amazon replaced it with another one. Again, the second one broke within a few uses! The little erasing knob broke off both times so I assume it is just cheaply made. The second time, it seemed it was worse quality than the first and the screen on the inside moved around. SUPER DISAPPOINTED. For the price, you’d think it would last a while especially with little to no use! Don’t waste your $ either get another brand that is more expensive or a cheap one. This is garbage!

    DO NOT purchase this item

The price for this garbage that was put together and sent to me is an absolute joke. The eraser does not work, the pen and shapes barely make an imprint on the board and even when you write or press the shapes on it the magnetic board part moves and you can tell that its seconds away from cracking. I am disgusted by the price of this product and the poor quality. Don’t waste your time purchasing.

Cute but flimsy for the price

This is very cute but I feel it’s kind of flimsy for the price. After a few weeks of play, a piece of wood inside came detached and now gets in the way of the skidding eraser. It’s just a bit junky, and not quite worth the price to me.

    Great for travel

Fun, great for restaurants or travel. Very well made. We also use it for setting prices when we play store. It’s well made and has 4 quadrants with 4 different colors. My son loves doodling with it,

    Not quality does not work

The media could not be loaded.

In less than a day the tip of the drawing utensil fell out so it no longer works 🙁

Love the look but the quality was poor.

I wasn’t impressed with this one. My child could not clear the screen on his own. The peg in one of the shapes popped off when I pulled it out and the metal tip fell out of the pen. It didn’t even make it one trip.

Cute, but design aspects could be improved

I love this company and the product lines are usually pretty consistent. I was, however, somewhat disappointed with this product. The elephant design is cute and the magnetic board is divided into color sections so there is a cute color aspect which differentiates this from the typical magnadoodle. My disappointment comes from some design flaws. The wood on the board could use some filing- the edges are quite sharp and unfinished. More importantly, the magnetic shards from within the board consistent leak out – immediately upon opening. The plastic covering on the front also scratches incredibly easy. In sum, super cute concept, but could just use some safety design improvements considering it target age range.

Good for going on a car trip

This is one of those toys that a child can be creative on using stamps and the magnetic pen. You can stamp triangles, stars, circles and squares. You can also write out letters. And draw with the pen. When all done, you can slide the green tab on the bottom, clear the board and start all over again

New twist on the magnet doodle board

Like the headline states, this is essentially one of those magnet boards that were popular decades back. You write with an attached magnetic stylus and erase with horizontal a swipe. There are shapes pieces that leave the image on the board to add extra teaching opportunities for basic geometry. Built for small hands out of very durable wood (compared to the cheaper plastic version of the old style) that is shaped like an elephant, but also heavier and thus clumsier for very young kid.As a fine motor tool, it’s a solid, portable, and durable tool for young learners.

    Very high quality

The wooden aspect of this drawing board is what I found most appealing initially. But now that I’ve seen how creative my granddaughter gets with it, I realize the ‘drawing’ aspect is truly exceptional. She loves the shapes. She rubs the square over the whole board to reveal the colors and then tries to ‘write’ her name. This is so much better quality than today’s etch-a-sketch. She, at 2 1/2, has a hard time carrying it around without hurting herself, so keep that in mind. It’s a bit heavy and bulky for its size.My g-baby is a bit behind in motor skills development, so I always look for toys with potential to make a difference with that. I really think this toy will last a long time and I’m quite impressed.

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner! (Great for Waldorf Families)

As soon as this was in our little one’s hands (she’s 4 as of now), she was off to the races with drawing and making shapes. Her favorite part was being able to erase it and create again – without any mess or cleanup. Aside from being made of wood, that’s what makes this especially good for Waldorf-inspired families. The only word of minor caution – the first time you try to take out the shapes, they stick a little. Therefore, if your child has any difficulties just help them out. After the first time, the shapes go in and out of the slots just fine. All in all, this is already a kid-favorite. And with no cleanup and max creativity, a winner for parents also.

    great toy

This toy is a great toy, to keep your kiddo entertained. They can doodle on there over and over again. The shapes are fun to use as stamps on the doodle board. I would notice that the age is 3+, I think because the stamps are a choke hazard for babies. We have a younger child at home, too, so I just removed the stamps and the younger one can play with the doodle board, too. I would definitely recommend this well made toy.

The classiest and highest quality magnetic drawing board that you will find

We used to have a plastic magnetic drawing board but have since given it away since getting this one. Safer materials for kids to play with and also higher quality. Wood toys feel so timeless to me as if they could last for generations. The different colors are bright and the pegged wooden stamps are also a nice touch. The size is also a benefit. It is large enough to accomplish plenty of doodling but small enough to be portable. Great for road trips or when we need my daughter to sit steal and be calm without an electronic device.

We love the quality and colors!

I got this with my 3 year old son in mind, but my 5.5 year old loves it just as much! The board comes with 4 shape magnets and an attached pen. The quality is wonderful. It’s very sturdy and has held up well with my rough boys. We love that the board has colors! So far it has erased very well. They have spent a lot of time making works of art on this. It was a great addition to our toy box!

    Great toy!

Classic magnetic drawing board with lovely wood upgrades. My three year old daughter loves this more than I anticipated. I really like that there are different colors depending on the area of the board. My only quibble is that the handle to the triangle stamp broke when I was removing it from the packaging, so I had to superglue it back on.

    Sturdy, Classic Children’s Play

A classic drawing board with nice touches— the solid wood makes it both beautiful and sturdy, a subtle elephant shape is a nice touch of whimsy, and the multicolor drawing surface and the shape magnets give it more flexibility than a standard drawing board. This board will give years of enjoyment to any young artist.

    Just okay

This is just okay. The idea is good, but the execution isn’t. It’s not well-made, and my granddaughter has trouble sliding it to erase her designs. Magna Doodle is better quality.

    Cute concept, needs some work

The concept of this board is cute. It’s divided into colors so that there is a rainbow effect when drawing. It includes 4 magnetic shapes that can be used to stamp on the board. Use the slider at the bottom to erase it. There’s a magnetic pen attached. My issue is that the front started to look marked up the first day. The edges are a little rough on the sides. The sliders is wobbly and gets stuck. The pen does not stay in the holder but slides through.Like I said, the concept is cute but it needs a few tweaks.

    Predefined colors, wood and magnets

This is a small twist on a timeless toy. As you can see from the picture, the colors underneath are predefined – yellow, blue, red and green – and stay on their respective quadrants. The star, square, triangle and circle and good starting shapes and make precise shape. It’s good quality underneath. The colors are not bright as you might expect, but are easily recognizable by a child. The pencil is nicely attached so you don’t lose it.The very thick left side is confusing. What is all that space for? There is a weird tear shape hole, but that’s not to grab it. If it were to make it easy to hang that would be centered. Overall, it seems like wasted space. They could’ve made the canvas much large or have a smaller foot print, like the right side, which is plenty big to hold.Overall goood quality toy, no pressure for shapes to show up, and fun colors. Recommended!

love the wood and multi colors, drawing space small

I love these drawing boards and this is a really nice one. Eventually, these types of boards can wear out quickly where the screen stays marked. The good stuff – great brand, quality products my kids like the multi colors cool geometric shapes for stamping and drawing mostly wood designWhat I don’t like as much as some others wood makes it heavier/not very portable drawing pane is smaller than most we tend to lose the stamps need to watch this around small children due to small pieces

    Complete waste of money

How can they get away with charging this price for garbage. The slide to erase gets stuck and is hard for me to do, so forget about my 3 year doing it. When we do erase it, there are portions that remain colored. Drawing with the pen, forget about it, the image barely appears. The only thing that works well are the magnetic shapes although they do fall out of the storage place way too easily. Had to buy a different brand to replace this one.

    Disappointed

I love Petit Collage toys. We have a number in our home. However, I have noticed that quality is hit or miss. Our 3-year-old son received this for Christmas. After 24 hours, the pen came off the string and then the magnetic ball came out of the pencil. Providentially, we had received some dollar store magnetic board for Christmas from a relative and so at least have a magnetic “pen” to use instead of the original as long as we don’t lose it.The board itself is super cute. The wood looks great and the elephant shape is endearing. The sliding mechanism to erase the picture works so smoothly and is easy for any child to operate. The board is a four-color rectangle that is revealed when you write on it or use the magnetic shapes provided. These magnetic shapes are well-made and work great on the board. The magnetic pen writes really well and produces fine lines that you can even read.I was hoping to recommend this product but the magnetic pen piece is rather important to the overall experience with the toy and so it’s so disappointing that I must give it a bad review.

    Beautifully crafted toy

So I had a similar toy for my kids, but it was plastic and they destroyed it in about two days. This toy is much sturdier and a drastic improvement over that one. The wooden pen has a metal magnetic tip and is attached to the wood. There are 4 wooden magnetic stamps with handles for tiny hands. This is something we use as a redirect or a distraction, the kids are always fighting over it. Another winner from this toy line – classic and elegant, and FUN.

Cute Design. Small Drawing Surface That Scratches Easily

This product was OK. Love the wooden design and elephant shape. But the wood is a little rough. Also liked the multiple colors but drawing space is a little small. And the surface is scratches easily. Kids had fun with it but not my favorite.

    Great for your little artist

This is great for kids who like art. This is a very fun toy. They played with it for a while, and had a lot of fun.We have many toys from this company. They make a lot of different products and we have generally been very happy with them. It worked well. This toy was durable. My kids can be a little rough with toys, but this continued to work just fine. We had no problemsI feel like this is good for child development. It kept my children’s interest. It would also make a nice gift.I would recommend it.

    Tons of Fun!

Tons of fun and works just like the old classic but with the fun added kick of extra colors! Beware, although they have a holding place on the toy the little magnets will end up in little mouths and/or get lost very very quickly! This is not a toy I’d recommend for toddlers unsupervised. The wooden frame is a nice throwback to before everything was made from cheap plastic parts. The eraser slider is easy for little hands to use and overall keeps them happy and drawing during car rides.

    Unique magnetic drawing board

We’ve owned a few simple magnetic drawing boards but this one takes the cake. My kids love that it has 4 different colorful sections and love to see them appear. The magnetic puzzle piece shapes add more excitement to their drawings. I like the simple wooden design and hope that it holds up to many uses. The wood feels thin, but then this makes it easy to carry. So far my kids love it and struggle to take turns with it.

Great car toy, wood case is an upgrade

This is a fancy magnet sketch board. The wooden case is good for small hands. The erasing mechanism works though requires a few back and forth for full erase. The shapes are a great feature but it’s a bit hard for an adult to get the shapes in and out of their spots, so adult assistance will be needed to make sure they get returned to their holding cells. The drawing area is a bit small. This is a perfect toy for the car.

    Love this drawing board

I think it is a great ‘take along’ on trips, easy to be a bit creative with no big mess. Keeps the child’s attention for longer than two minutes. Pieces are large enough for a small child to manipulate with their hands, but small enough to be classified as a possible choking hazard, so keep that in mind for very small children. Best monitor them when being used if you think that might be a problem. Made from wood, so pretty durable. A little pricey though.

    Cute

Very cute, sweet, old-fashioned type of toy. Love the wooden elephant shape, and the throw-back to simpler toys. Nice way to keep my 2yo entertained for awhile, as he loves art.I find it somewhat frustrating due to its limited size – not much room to draw – but he doesn’t mind since he’s mainly into scribbling and erasing.

Love the cute elephant shaped wood frame

Petit Collage makes the cutest, high-quality toddler toys. This adorable elephant shaped wood frame very sturdy and well made. Two-year-old approved, too! She loves it and it keeps her entertained for a long time. It’s nice that the board has four colors instead of just gray like most magnetic drawing boards. The four shaped pieces are great for building a scene and learning shapes and colors. There is also an attached drawing pen with a holder on the side, and all you need to do to clear the screen is to slide the tab at the bottom for a fresh start. THis would make an excellent gift!

Great quality! Held up to our 3 year-old dropping it many times

I am very surprised by the reviews that say this is bad quality. We had a completely opposite experience. I prefer wood toys to plastic. I just think they look better. Since I don’t think it necessarily makes them better quality, it is purely an aesthetic preference. When I saw this magnetic drawing board I was immediately attracted to the look compared to the bulky fluorescent green plastic ones. Our 3 year-old son loves it and it has held up really well to months of use and a few sky dives without a parachute.as far as functionality it’s not any better or worse than the plastic ones. We thought it was so good that we purchased it for our niece for her birthday.

Excellent quality board. Shapes, colors, drawing, and learning are all part of this drawing pad.

This is a very intuitive magnetic drawing board. I ordered this for my 3 year old and also for my 17 month old. It is recommended on the drawing for children’s use 3 years and up, however. Both my children seem to like it and take turns with it. I obviously monitor my 17 month old when he is playing with it. This does have 4 pieces of shapes like a triangle and a circle… all in different colors… and you can actually place them on the drawing board, and it makes that shape – that is pretty cool. The kids like it and learn a lot. It keeps them occupied so i am happy. And the board is done very well — very durable, and wooden borders. Thank you and i recommend this for your child.

    Good quality wooden drawing pad

The pad is well made out of wood, which is a nice change from the usual plastic ones. The screen is in four different colors with each quadrant being a different color. You can’t necessarily choose which color you want as the color is depermend by which quadrant you draw in. It has four shapes; triangle, square, circle, and star, that are held in place with magnets. The magnets are on the weak side though so if you hold the pad upside down one or two will fall out. There’s a little loop to hold the stylus in place. Clearing the board seems to take two swipes to completely clear. This is designed more for righties. It has a nice grip on the left side with the stylus held on the right. While this is not a problem for most, it may be a little uncomfortable if you kid prefers to use their left hand to draw.We have several magnetic drawing boards, and while this is on the smaller side, it’s probably the best quality.

    Pleases mom and toddler

My daughter-in-law can be hard to please when it comes to toys for my grandson. So I try to make selections that will make both of them happy. This toy does it. Mom loves the wooden frame and the solid wood shapes with magnets on the underside. My grandson loves the toy and all the things he can draw with it. The four quadrants of color are fun. The shapes work wonderfully for building images quickly and creatively. It’s a great toy for all of us!

I love this! My grandson has been plying with this since he was 13 months old. It is especially fabulous when traveling either by car or plane. I ordered another one to have as a spare. Magnetic tip broke off and wood stripped off

Durable is not 5/5, more like 3/5? The magnetic tip broke off within a few weeks and the bottom part began to chip off in long strips. Causing splinters. Otherwise, while it lasted it was pretty awesome learning tool. Sadly didn’t last long.

    Cheaply made – I wouldn’t spend $10

I’ve honestly never been so disappointed by a kids toy. I thought I was buying a high quality toy that would last for years – which is why I was okay with spending just shy of $40. But I think spending $10 would be FAR too much for this! The pen barely would draw on the drawing board and within MINUTES of very gentle play the magnetic draw tip fell out. The little shapes barley were visible on the drawing space. It felt so cheaply made and I am SHOCKED they are charging $38 for it!! Don’t buy this. Get a $10 plastic one instead! It’ll be much higher quality.

This is such an adorable board! My son loves it! The issue is after two returns I can’t get one that works! The first one came with missing magnets and they didn’t really show up on the board. Adorable but cracks easily

I bought this for my 1.5 year old for Christmas and she loved it. She isn’t “drawing” yet, obviously, but she loves to scribble and use the stamps. The only problem is, the magnetic board itself cracks really easily. Obviously it’s not MEANT to be stood on, but with toddlers, these things happen. One time walking across it, and the face cracked. The magnetic shards started leaking out, and the chemical smell was so bad the whole thing had to be tossed out. We got a good 2 months out of it at least…

Item arrived with annoying dead pixels all over the screen that cannot be erased and chipped color paint on the stamp. Of course being a kid, that doesnt bother him. But as parents who paid much for this, it’s a product disappointment. Buy at your own risk.

Very cute and sturdy for my rough 2year old son; however, the little slide piece to clear the screen is a struggle for even me to slide, so my son gets frustrated. Otherwise it’s a cute product and would make a lovely gift.

    Cute, but small

Cute, I like the shapes, and that it’s wooden, but that’s about it. Smaller then I expected. Part of the board was a little messed up, but I didn’t realize until after the return window. Although, it’s gotten worse rough a couple months of use.

    Cheap

I wanted to love this, but it just isn’t made well at all. The board won’t fully erase and the slide to erase it is super difficult to work. My two year old still loves it, but I just wish it was made better, especially for the price!

    Cute but cheaply made

Super cute design, but poorly made product. It feels cheapy in your hands. The wood dents and scratches very easily. The knob that you slide to erase is very rickety, feels like its going to break, and it gets stuck as you slide it across (meaning my child can’t do it independently). The magnets are cheap and spotty. It won’t last long. Definitely not worth $30. I would return it but it got beat up so fast within a couple days of use 🙁

    Broke after 2 hours

My son and I were so excited when it arrived. He wanTed to take it to school he loved it so much. After 2 hours of playing with it, the wooden button that cleans the screen got stuck. We tried putting some oil on it but it doesn’t work at all. Such a shame, I wanted it to be great as I would prefer to buy wood over plastic any day, but sadly this doesn’t do it.

Not worth the price at all

What a disappointment. I’m on my second one of these because the first was full of flaws and I returned. The replacement I received has a very stiff eraser slider that my toddler needs help to do, plus it gets stuck on either side of the screen so doesn’t erase the edges of the screen. My son loves the shape stamps, but he isn’t able to enjoy this toy independently. Huge waste of money.

    Daily Play

My toddler is still 1-2 years old and absolutely loves this toy. We previously had a traditional one. Gray markings. Also had stamps. But she responds to this one so much better. A combination of the four colors. Light weight making it easy for her to handle and carry around.
