Good cute set!
These shirts are true to size and durable fabric. The lighter orange shirt is neon in person so -1 star. My child scraped their elbow and stained the shirt. It lifted right out of the fabric the next day!

Printed phrases on pocket tags- not visible in product pics.
These shirts haven’t been washed or worn yet, so I can’t report about durability, but I noted a few things right out of the package.The shirts are very vibrantly colored. I’m into that, but if you don’t like neon the orange/red/striped blue set is not for you. They’re made from a very soft, thin fabric (60% cotton, 40% polyester)- good for hot weather. I imagine they will wear faster than a thicker fabric would, but the price point is reasonable and they appear to be fairly well constructed (no unevenness in cut, inconsistent sizing between items, popped seams, or other signs of shoddy construction). I like the little button detail, and the buttons are operational, which is always helpful when dressing toddlers who hate to get stuck in the neck of a shirt while getting un/dressed.One thing I really would have liked to know before buying is that two of the shirts (orange and red) have a little tag with a printed slogan sewn on the pocket. In the product photos you can see that there is a white tag sewn on, but it’s not possible to read it and I assumed it just said carter’s. The slogans are “POWERED UP FULL OF ENERGY” and “NOW IS MY TIME.” I’m really not a fan of printed slogans on clothing, especially children’s clothing, and probably would have chosen a different item if this were visible in product photos. I decided to just seam-rip the tags off rather than returning the shirts, and while it’s not super noticeable, there is an outline of perforations where the tag was sewn to each pocket.Overall, I like the shirts, I just find it irritating and inexplicable that the product photos for an item that is explicitly produced for online shopping (simple joys is a carter’s sub-brand exclusively for prime) don’t actually fully show the product, even when you zoom in.Side note, I find the relentless gendering of children’s products- a basic t-shirt!- rather silly.

Quality is ok
These shirts seemed to be quality and they’re soft, but one of them has a hole (in the back) after only being worn once. Not sure if it was there when I bought the shirts or not but my son has never got holes in any of his other shirts.

Play Shirts
This is a great bang for your buck set. We have gotten multiple washes out of these shirts and they have held up well. With a messy toddler they do have some staining, but so do most of his clothes.

Nicer than a t-shirt
