Superior product
I really think this is a fun product and I was really bummed when disaster struck and we lost a pair of our favorite set of here phones. This was such a great deal and such a great offer by Sony and such a great product, too bad that we lost part of our studio in a hotel fire. Maybe Sony would be too kind to replace them for free.

The best earbuds on the market!!
I have repurchased these headphones many times. Both for myself and others. It’s been a trusted product for years. The sound quality of these are amazing and super clear. They do not tend to break easily (unless you pull on them of course haha). The mic also works really well for zoom calls and discord. I haven’t encountered any problems with these Sony headphones. I also have smaller ears, yet they fit perfectly with the different sized ear buds included. I cannot recommend this more! The value is amazing and the price is reasonable.

Cheap earbuds that are okay in a pinch
These earbuds lasted about 8 months of average use (zoom call once a day, or 30 minutes of netflix). The sound quality isn’t anything to write home about but they will get you by in a pinch. They eventually got so quiet that you could barely hear anything even if the buds were on full volume (yes they have been cleaned). Overall, okay in a pinch but not awesome.

Very handy, but not that durable.
These are very handy in that they are lightweight, and plug into a standard 1/8 in audio jack, and have a built-in microphone. The drawback is they get torn up in your pocket (or just about any other place) quite easily so you really need to get a small pouch to keep them protected in. I use them for listening to HP Lovecraft audiobooks when I go to bed and for participating in Teams meetings and calls at work. They get a lot of use. I do consider them part of my Essential gear for both work and sleep. That durability problem though means they’re basically a consumable. The cord is probably not the best place to cut down on weight. As a design spec, they need to reinforce the thinnest chords considerably for the next manufacturing run.

Cable pisado
Me gusta mucho la marca sony, es una pena que me llegaron con el cable pisado, el que va a uno de los auriculares, se escucha bien pero se nota que el cable está maltratado, además el cable es muy delgado, da la sensación de que no es muy resistente, la cajita estaba toda doblada.

Good head phones
They came with different size ear buds. This helped to keep them in my ears better than other brands and they sound great. They have stop button and microphone on wire but no volume.

Great but will not last long
They work well if its work but wont last long trust me i tried everything in the book i brought maybe 20 pairs,at times things were my fault why they have broken.If you take good care of them what’s going to happen is one side is going to go out first and then you going to have to rely only on one side for a while until that one finally goes out.they are not reliable long term no matter what you do i do not care what any other reviewer say if you see a review that says it last long they are lying or maybe their definition of long term is different.even if you mange to make them last longer then a few months the volume will for sure decrease, also it will start hanging up phones call and being slightly defective.

Use them for Xbox gaming and party chat
These work perfect on my Xbox one and series x. I can hear and communicate perfectly in party chat and my game audio is clear and nice. I just bought a new pair because my last pair of these finally started shorting out after 5 years of use. These are way better and last 5x longer than any headset Xbox sells for their systems.

Lasted 18 months
According to amazon, I bought this in July of 2022. This week one of the buds stopped working and I was only getting sound in one ear, verified on multiple devices. I searched amazon for a replacement and this was one of the top results. So this pair lasted me about 18 months of intermittent usage. I’m a hybrid remote/office worker. This pair was in the office. I only used it a couple days a week and it never left my desk. Sounded good when it worked, though.

Great budget for gaming
I LOVE these! I’m ALWAYS able to hear stuff before my friends with expensive headsets. Nothing beats sound directly into your ears. Super comfy, I’ve worn them for 14+ hours at a time. Yes I have a gaming issue

Comfort: Not the Best. I’d say 5/10.Durability: Not sure. Each pair I had lasted 6 months. But I was pretty rough on them.Appearance: I’d say their good. Wire was appealing. Not my favorite bud shape, but to each their own.Sound Quality: Good. At this price point your not gonna really hear much difference between competitors. I did notice a little sharpness in female voices/higher frequences, but its unnoticeable unless your comparing.What I want to add:L shape connecter. Amazing. +1.Volume control, Erght! 0/10. Pretty bad, gotta turn them way up to listen.Overall good earphones. I wouldn’t encourage you, but I wouldn’t discourage you from buying these. You will be satisfied. Though I do prefer the panasonic ergo fit earphones for my small ears, and the snug fit, these are basically the same.

Sound is little bit low

Long Lasting!!
For me, these are the perfect earbuds for gaming. They plug into my Xbox series x controller. I can easily listen to the game or chat with friends through the wired mic. They hear me loud and clear and I hear them just fine. I had a previous pair that lasted me the greater of 5 years. I had constantly used them for listening to music when I went to college and once graduated, I used them for gaming or even work calls. Just recently one of the earbuds finally gave out. The cable never got damaged nor did the plastic/rubber peel off and show exposed wire. Great quality earbuds for $10.

Good earbuds
Bought these earbuds 2+ years ago and they still work, only issue is that one ear is louder than the other but its been 2+ years since I bought them. Wished it had more buttons but overall great pair of earbuds, dropped them a bunch and to be honest never really took great care of them so for them to last so long and work this well just show how good these earbuds are. If you need some cheap great sounding earphone then these are ones for you.

Great
NOTE, I have not tested or have any need in testing the microphone.This is the reason for the 4 star instead of 5 star.THIS review is basically on the stereo earbuds. These are used for listening to music and such on a phone and tablet and these have a great sound !!!! They sound good like a Sony should. Experiment with the included tips to get the fit and sound you want. They do NOT have active noise cancellation, if that is what you’re looking for but just by virtue of going into your ears, they block outside sounds.

So you’re wondering about buying these Sony MDREX15LP and hey, let’s start with all the goods! This is a product that is definitely showing all the strides of the once king of quality and reliability big Sony. Great brand, widely accessible and always longlasting with great price. These Sony MDREX15LP earbuds have exactly what you’d want in a Sony device. Great quality, good sound, great long lasting durability and decent comfort! And while these ear buds are great, so much so that I defaulted to buying these again recently, as about 8-10 years ago these were my go-to budget kings! But… That was just that, a decade ago. The sound of these earbuds are good, even by todays standards, don’t get me wrong, especially for $10 (regular $20) but what if I told you you could get exactly everything this comes with, but modernized, with the greatest new tech in the audio realm and far superior audio resolution?If $20 is your budget realm, hey if TEN DOLLARS is your budget, I’d still recommend skipping these and spend double the price for a far superior earbud set, the Truthear Hola! (Side by side picture included.) The Truthear Holas are the current kings of the budget realm, and for me are a DIRECT upgrade to these earbuds. They come even more durable than these Sony MDREX15LP, have far superior sound quality, higher db output, better bass and equalizing all around. On top of it all, the Truthear Holas are not just regular earbuds but they’re actually in-ear monitors (iem’s) so the sound goes directly into your ear, this results in the sound being clearer, bass feeling a bit stronger and the sound, well sounding louder. Impressive earbuds
This is the second time I’ve ordered these Sony earbuds as I was very impressed with my first pair. The sound quality is good as is the voice quality of the microphone. For an inexpensive pair of earbuds, these are also pretty durable. I had the first pair for about 5 months before they finally gave out. The reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because the sound quality from the right side wasn’t great all the time with my first pair. It was strange, as the sound quality of the right earbud seemed to vary from app to app. I think there may have been a slight defect, as both sides of my new pair work equally well. I definitely recommend these.

Not that impressive quality
Expected more from the quality of the cable being a Sony product. But the cable gets very easily tangled and the quality of the cable feels a bit cheap. Sounds and works okay, so I guess there’s that. I like the in ear buds style and this is good for that.

Satisfaction in usage, but the quality is questionable.
This is my second purchase, and both headphones have experienced issues. The first one became completely unusable, and now with this one, there’s an imbalance in volume between the left and right channels, along with significant distortion. It could be due to the product being relatively old, and the quality is a serious concern.

- Sound Quality: I’m no audiophile but I would describe the music as vibrant with slight bias toward vocals. Personally, I really like it.- Design: Classic and timeless! I think they look great for the money!- Comfort: They fit my ears perfectly. You get multiple tips (small, medium and large) to get your best fit.- Value: MSRP of $10! That’s a steal of a deal!- Controls: You get a single tactile Play/Pause button.Cons 
- The only thing missing is volume controls. For me, that’s a deal breaker simply because I was planning on using mine with in-flight entertainment and not having volume control buttons was very disappointing

Lasts longer than most headphones
I use these for my laptop and I’ve had for at least 2 years and they still work. The one thing is after a few years the volume seems to go down in each earphone, but I guess that is to be expected over a long period of time.

Solid Basic Headphone
I use this for work to listen to monitor customer service calls and various Zoom meeting throughout the day. Microphone seems to be good quality (I have had no complaints) and the sound is clear. I have not used these to listen to music.

Great Fit on my ears
The best of earbuds I ever had. It great fit and block noise well. It better then the charge one. When the voice said “battery it low” so sick of that so I brought this again. Does the job but very cheap feel
They do the job, sound quality is adequate, but they feel very cheap and delicate. For the amount I spent, I was expecting the level of quality you got from the ear buds that came with brand name mobile phones, but these do not meet that standard for perception of quality. I hope I am wrong, but I do not expect these to last very long.One star on the volume because these have no volume control at all, only a button to answer or end a call.

Great and durable product
It’s been almost a year that I have this pair of headphones. They are reliable and have great sound quality. I’m not sure how good is the noise cancelation because I don’t use it to block noise but listen to quality music.I recommend it.

Good value headphones
Overall happy with the purchase. I use these at work. I primarily listen to music and podcasts during the day. They have good sound for podcasts and average to above average sound for music. My only critique, is that because they are noise canceling, if you are on a work call and have to talk with the mic, it sounds funny because you can hear yourself talking.
