Complete scam
I spent 8 hours trying to get tracfone to update my sim card, 8 HOURS!They eventually “accidentally” deleted my account saying they needed to delete the account and add it back.Then when adding it back, they somehow found my credit card I deleted a year earlier, and added the account back as a new purchase and refusing to refund the year I paid for and refusing to delete the credit card they illegally obtained. Unreal! This is a complete scam.

Tracfone SIM kits are made for T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T compatible cellular services. Each required their own SIM chips. This was supposed to change to universal compatible with 4G & 5G but here we are.Some Tracfone SIM kits come with all 3 SIM chips, some with only 2 chips, some with only 1 chip. They don’t say which on the package. I bought one SIM kit from local drugstore and it only contained the Verizon SIM chip.Bought Tracfone SIM kit from this Amazon vendor and it contained both T-Mobile and Verizon SIM chips. Since I wanted to use Mint Mobile (T-Mobile related cell service) it had the SIM chip I wanted.For unrelated reason, I wanted to use Tracfone cellular first, then Mint Mobile.

SIM card works. I was told to get a new SIM card when my service didn’t work and the sim card wasn’t the problem, it was tracfone and they’re bad customer service.

Sent me an invalid sim
I tried to get service for my iPhone 13 Pro and ordered this SIM card to use on the T-Mobile network and when I put it in I got invalid sim and then tried the other one and got the same thing
