Bought it for my mom, but…

She didn’t like the the direction of the prongs because she wanted to stack her dishes horizontally, not vertically. I use it now and it works fine. The silverware holder is not very task so the silverware (especially long utensils) fall out of it. Otherwise, it works fine.

Finally found a dish drain that we worked

This finally worked for my sink. I was looking for one that wouldn’t take up too much room with her design, but not enough space inside my spare sink, and leave the gap all around that I couldn’t use for the width of the sink itself. I having us so low, I can put in pots and pans beyond the dimensions of this to use the full size of my sink. It seems very sturdy and like someone else mentioned the small gaskets on the bottom of the feet will need to be drained, so I’m trying to remember to do that as I empty the dishes. I like the east west direction of how the dishes stack versus the north south direction just gives me more room to stack dishes. Overall, I’m very happy with this product.

    may 2020

I’ve had this product since May, 2020, and I just finished doing a thorough cleaning on it. The silverware container pulls off as well as the “feet” protectors and the outside plastic piece that fits over the wire cage. I’m pretty impressed how well this has held up. There’s only a little rust where the outside wire cage joins together and everything else is great. The “feet” are the only things that really need attention, because they hold water and will grow mildew, etc. I’m very pleased with this product.

    Perfect small drain rack!

I recently moved into a smaller apartment and just needed something small to put into one sink since I use so few dishes. This measures about 14”x10 3/4”x4” and is metal covered by rubber-like substance that washes up beautifully and leaves no MARK on sink or counter top! There is a small plastic basket that sits in one corner for utensils or can be removed as needed! Durable, attractive, and handy not to mention inexpensive! Good job Amazon for carrying this great drain rack!

Works well for what I need

In trying to make space on the counter in our small kitchen, I thought this design of dish rack would work well, as it also doesn’t take up much room in the sink either. Once I received it, I was a bit concerned, as my sink seems to have very rounded corners in the bowl. The dish rack fit pretty well, and though my corners are rounded, it still fit well enough without moving. It is very sturdy. My only reason for a 4 star was that the silverware holder is small, so for our family of 4 it fills up fast and then utensils start falling out. It would also be better if the slots for the plates/bowls were just a bit wider. It’s fine for plates, but unless you have shallow bowls or bowls with a gradual edge, they don’t always stay in the rack, but roll to the side. It works, and my issues with it aren’t a deal-breaker.

    Fits comfortably in most sinks

Even if the drainers in the store seem like they fit, they often have bulky frames that make it so they don’t fit. I bought a couple in-store and had to return them. This one fit perfectly into my sink in my previous flat. Now it’s too big for my current sink, but it’s compact enough that it sits unobtrusively on the kitchen counter next to the sink. I like the materials.

I will say, this is the best in-sink dish rack in comparison to the dish rack I purchased from Oxo. This fits in the sink and isn’t bulky. Its literally low to the sink so its isn’t an eyesore and does the job.

    Perfect for our remodel

We remodeled our kitchen and went with the smaller side of the sink on the left side so our previous drainer was too large. I had a hard time finding something with smaller dimensions that would fit down into the bottom of the sink since there was a small overhang of the quartz on the top. There is just two of us and it’s perfect for our odd dishes. I like that the feet are high enough that the dishes don’t rest on the bottom of the sink so they can dry. It’s sturdy too. We’ve had it about a 6 weeks.

Sturdy and perfect fit in the sink

fyi: over time, this will rust on the ‘legs’ on the back side, but it is such a perfect fit for my sink, I ordered 2. Hat tip: When I am done using the rack, at night, I turn it upside down… put it on my counter, and let the legs air dry. Hopefully this will keep the rust at bay for a longer period of time. Another hat tip: the utensil rack is dishwasher safe.

    In Sink Dish Drainer

I ordered this because every drainer that I bought, that sits on the counter, was very difficult to clean. This is smaller then my on the counter one but it fits in the sink nicely. There is no mat that has to be cleaned, so for me its a plus. Its now always clean and no water to leak out on the counter. My counter now looks very nice

Spent the weekend de-cluttering and spring cleaning. Always hated putting dishes to dry on a towel next to the sink. Took up so much valuable counter space and this solved that problem and I gained counter space. Perfect.

    Meets my needs.

I had been using my dishwasher, but had to rinse my dishes before putting them in since I ran it infrequently. One day, it didn’t seem to want to start and, even though I was able to get it to run, it made me worry about it breaking with a full load inside. It is pretty old (it’s harvest gold!). I decided to get this rack and wash the dishes as I used them. It really doesn’t take any longer than it took me to rinse them to put into the dishwasher. I use one of those sponges that you can put the soap into the handle and I find it gets the job done pretty fast. This rack works well, keeping the dishes elevated so air can circulate. The cup for the silverware is handy. I have a double stainless steel sink and it fits well into one side. I do find my plates fall over pretty easily, so that’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

    Just what I needed

I just did a major renovation of my kitchen and replaced the sink with a 60/40 stainless steel model. I had trouble finding anything at the local box stores that would fit my sink. All the drainers were too large to fit the small bowl. This one fit perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

    Love it!

You’re probably going to want to have at least a 14″ x 16″, or in my case with the slight curve at the top, 14″ x 18″, sink. Anything smaller, and this might not work for you. That said, I absolutely love my new dish rack!! I read the complaints about the utensil caddy, and you can overcome a lot of the problem by simply making sure that the caddy is in a “corner” of your sink, and that the rack is as close to that corner as possible. This way, it is “secured” by two walls of your sink, and if you happen to have longer/larger utensils, (tongs, long wooden spoons, spatulas, etc.), they can easily rest against a sink wall and stay stable inside the caddy. I also read a review where the buyer was missing a rubber piece on the foot, as it looks like they come factory installed and you probably couldn’t “replace” it yourself, I suggest you have it exchanged. You’re going to want those rubbers to protect the metal foot from any kind of corruption, and you’re definitely going to want to protect your sink from scratches as well. I have this rack for items that cannot go in the dishwasher, and it has been great. You can get pleny of items in this rack, and that is because you’re able to use the sink walls as “sides”. It makes stacking very easy. All in all, for the price, this rack can’t be beat!

    middle of the road

Storage: it really depend on your sink size and what size you had ordered. I had order the medium size and it has worked well. I was determining between this style and the flat version where there isn’t a wire to help hold dishes up. I should of gotten the other one that is just flat because you can still lean your dishes against the walls of the sink and have plenty of room. the prongs do get in the way when you have larger items or many items you have washed. I end up just piling items in there and having them dry.appearance: I like the color and overall look of the item. it fits well in the kitchen and has a good clearance on the bottom

Sharp looking, low profile, nice lookign rack

I hate the big bulky, plastic crap looking racks. This is as sleek and low profile as you can get. the right size for two adults, but small for handwashing family. You do need to be intentional stacking it and can’t just toss everything in a pile, b/c no side walls, stuff will role out. We have a very small countertop area and I wanted something that didn’t swallow it up both in square inches but also visually. Please with performance over 2- months of ownership. bought one of those drying towel things to place below it, otherwise water will drip on counter top. I’d buy again in a heart beat.

Nice fit and well made… but…

I loathe 60/40 sinks, but that’s what I have in my kitchen island. I just received this dish rack and it’s very well made. It’s sturdy and it fits nicely in my smaller sink – but my dishes sit at such an extreme angle I’m not sure how functional the rack will be. If they sat upright I’d be 100% happy, so I’ll be back to finish this review after I’ve used it for a bit.

I didn’t want anything too noticeable because I wanted to leave it in the sink all the time for ease of use. This fit the bill perfectly. It is very sturdy and fits perfectly. The dishes and glasses work to drain even though the footprint is small. I would definitely recommend a purchase.

    Great Quality & Exactly what I wanted/needed!

I am really happy with this disk rack. After looking through literally hundreds of disk racks on Amazon and elsewhere this is the only one I found that was in-sink — which I had not considered until I saw it — and nice enough quality that it did not feel like it was causing the rest of my kitchen to feel cheapened.Previously I had a roll-up rack like one of these https://www.amazon.com/s?k=roll-up+dish+drying+rack and found that I was always just leaving a pile of dishes on it and that the sink underneath was getting dirty and disgusting which also meant I never used the 2nd sink. Also because that rack did not have much space I ended up with another surface level rack causing me to loose a lot of cabinet space. With this in-sink rack — and maybe it is just because it is new — I find myself putting away the dishes much more often, and — a plus — I can fit a lot more dishes before it overflows. Even better, since I find it easier to keep it less cluttered it is easier to remove and be able to use the 2nd sink when I need to.All-in-all, very happy with both the purchase and the price.

    Lasted less than 3 years

I bought this to leave in my sink all the time; I like that it’s pretty minimal. The design is flawed, though; the metal feet are partially covered in silicone, I guess to prevent scratching surfaces. The silicone traps water against the metal feet, which are now (2 yrs 10 months later) so profoundly rusted that they are crumbling. Back here buying a different dish drainer that hopefully will last longer.

    Love it!

Love it! I have always put a strainer in my sink to dry the dishes. Inevitably, the old ones I used to purchase would rust and the coating would look awful after a year or so. My daughter bought this one for her home a few years ago and it still looks brand new. It is very sturdy and durable. It isn’t hard to keep clean. The low profile looks great in the sink. I can place just as many dishes on it as the old style I used to have of not more because It doesn’t have sides. I love it so much I purchased two so in ten years when this one wears out I’ll have a back up in case they don’t make it anymore! My only complaint with the strainer is the rubber bumpers it comes with on the feet of the strainer. They tend to fall off and can easily get lost. Other than that, it’s a winner!

I needed a small dish drain for my tiny kitchen and this one is perfect. The low profile does not make my counter space look small than it is. It holds most of my washed dishes, but I don’t mind hand drying the leftovers. I do wish Amazon had had the red, but the white is quite nice.

    No regrets!

After reading numerous reviews and ordering the Umbra Sinkin I became sold. I have had it for months and completely love it. It is low profile making it very minimal but WOW I can load this baby up with an entire night of pots and strainers and knives. I have a diswasher for all the rest. It has a high enough clearance from the bottom of the sink that everything dries nicely. It has made NO scratch on my sink thanks to the rubber casing on each of the mounts. The flatware cup is not the biggest but it works. For those who say it is flimsy I just put that part up against the corner of my sink as suggested by another reviewer and it works fine. I have a very deep sink and plates/bowls are secure when sitting in the rack. I especially like to ability to load it with my pans and strainers, that I don’t put in the washer. I can load all of them and they just rest on the rack and sides of my sink bowl. I like not being limited to a dish drying rack that has it’s own sides and capacity for drying. I love this product and I can even dry my cutting boards with not problem!! I would had possibly bought a drying rack for my specific sink model, however, I am glad I did not because this works better then I thought when I first used it and would not go back.

LOVE THIS – one of our best purchases for our RV kitchen/sink

This is awesome! We live in an RV and the kitchen has limited space for washing dishes. I researched a ton of these before deciding to give this one a try – it had good reviews but most important of all, it needed to FIT in our RV sink! ABsolutely delighted – it fits PERFECTLY – sitting on the left half of our double sink – it sits on top of the sink, not down on the bottom, but with the little “legs” with plastic covers it keeps it solidly in place and I can safely stack dishes and cutlery in/on it. We use it every day and it’s one of the handful of items that both my hubby and I say “this was a great purchase” – totally worth it – as long as it “fits” your needs, then you can’t go wrong with the quality and usefulness of this dish rack.By the way, if you have an RV and also are shopping for a dish rack, it might be useful for us to share what ours is, as yours may be the same or similar. Ours is a 2012 Tiffin 35QBA motorhome gas coach. Tiffin may use the same size sinks for many of their coaches – you just need to measure and check. Both sides of our sink are the same size and measure 14″ deep x 12″ long (from the inside edge of the sink). Hope that helps!

    Great for limited space!

It does exactly what it’s supposed to do! I’ve had this little dish rack for going on three years now with no issues. I’ve seen a few reviews that mention the feet rusting, I have not had that issue. Maybe it’s a different model but the metal rack part seems to be powder coated. There is some condensation in the plastic that covers the feet but no rust. I soak and clean it once per month and it works just fine. Fits perfectly in my sink and I don’t have to take up limited counter space with a dish rack. Recommend.

    Not what I hoped for.

Tray is made well, however, the dish holders are for dishes only. They are very closely spaced and do not hold anything but thin, flat items. Bowls, trays, cutting boards, etc, do not fit. With a full rack of dishes, there is no room for anything else except a few utensils. The rack was also delivery missing one of its rubber foot pads. It will be sent back.
