Still not sized for bigger guys
One of my first times buying compression leggings. These truly do keep your legs warm. The size is my major issue. It’s pretty tight on my waist (52jeans/3xl for most pants.) It would work except every time I bent over the band would drop in the back, giving everyone a double dose of my plumbers crack. I tried pulling them up higher, but it just doesn’t have the stretch or hold. Squat, toe grab, kneel = plumbers crack. A real shame since I’d bought these for work where I do all the aforementioned repetitively.

Best Under Armour leggings for men ever!
I bought these for my Husband, and he loves them! He had a different pair of under armour leggings before this pair, and I was always having to stitch up the crotch area on that old pair. This pair looks like the crotch area is stitched way stronger, and won’t have the problem as his previous pair. They look perfect on him! I bought him the XL. He has really long, strong muscular legs, and thighs, but a bit of a belly. So the XL fit him absolutely perfect, and he felt really comfortable in them too. Overall I made him happy with this purchase, which makes me very happy too!😊

Large fits like Medium
I’ve worn exclusively Under Armour since it came out. Nothing even comes close. Well Nike is definitely my next favorite but I’ve rocked Cold Gear for I want to say something like 19 years. My only thing is that I got a large but lt kind of fits like a medium. I’m 6 ft tall and 160 lbs. It’s not long enough in the legs but other than that it’s great

Fine, not that warm
Seeing reviews describing these as super warm and fleece lined. I have fleece lined tights and these are not fleece lined. Good tights but not super warm. Fine for running when it’s 20s or 30s but much below that and I’ll go for me fleece lined tights.

Warm and tight
These are great! I am 5’11” 175 pounds and typically wear a 32×32 pants and the small fit perfect. They are like a second skin. They will be tight, but do not inhibit movement at all. I live in the Midwest and it was about 30 degrees when I went for my 4 mile run. These kept me warm with just the base layer and running wind pants on my legs. Little costly, but worth imo.

Surpassed my Expectations
I have had many brands of compression pants in the past, but none like UA’s Men’s Cold Gear. They fit well, are extremely warm and their made of high quality fabric—they are super soft. Thanks.

Poorly worked seams
I am using this product as a base layer for cold winter runs (10-15K, 0C/32F). The warmth these Cold Gear leggings provided, worn underneath additional leggings, was great when compared with the uninsulated Heat Gear version, even in miserable weather. Keeps your legs warm and comfortable, preventing strains and pulls of muscles that otherwise are more easily to occur in cold weather. However, given my lengthy daily runs I noticed that the seams chafe over time. The seams are thicker, likely because of the added insulation, than in the uninsulated Heat Gear version of this product. The Heat Gear versions, short or long, never had any issues. This must be unique to this insulated Cold Gear version, and you’ll like only notice this after repeated long runs. Not sure whether this was a one time issue, or a design flaw. I had a previous version of this product where I did not observe this issue. Looking at the seams one can detect them coming apart in locations, generating irritating fibers. That maybe ok for casual wear, but not for long distance running. The manufacturer may want to pay attention to this detail and if needed update the design – because otherwise they are great, as with other UnderArmour products I own.

The only leggings you’ll want to wear
The usual 5/5 Under Armour quality I expect is on full display with these leggings. As with many other reviewers, I ordered a size up. The large fits me snugly and comfortably. I’m usually a medium with my 32″ waist size, but a medium would not have fit.Great comfort, quality, and functionality. Highly recommend.

Get a bigger size
They run small. After reading reviews and hearing about sizing I went with a medium. I wear a 32 waist and these things are way to small. Should have gotta a large or xl. They seem warm after u start moving around in them outside. But at first I was cold.

Workable, but not the greatest
One of the things that stands out on these is the lack of an opening as would be normally expected in male bottoms, which was kind of annoying. These are marketed as compression, and they definitely meet that description. Worked okay for warmth, and definitely would prefer them to nothing, but I might be exploring other options.

Upsize one size
I always wear size M but not in this case. I have a 32” waist and 32” inseam, I’m 5’8” and 160. Had to return for a L. Medium’s fit but just too damn tight.

Great with some ware
Helped survive negative degree winter camping. The ware in the thighs is degrading faster than I would like for a $30 pair of leggings

Crouch area wears quickly, but otherwise great
The compression is just right for me. The crouch area sits a bit awkwardly (I’m 6”1’ and 200lbs) and perhaps that’s why they wear down in that area more quickly than the rest of the tights. These are my second pair and I’d buy again (though preferably on sale).

Fantastic Compression Leggings
I ran my first full marathon in these. They’re comfortable, enough to keep you warm when the temps are cold in the morning, but cool enough to get through the day. It wicks sweat away and breathes just enough to keep your muscles warm during running, but not to the point where it gets you hot and you feel the need to take them off.

High price
4.0 is the way to go. I am 6/4 and 215. Had to reorder the ex large to fit and included the socks to use with the short oriental leg length. All their products are overpriced for imports but seem to be virus free , at the moment at least. We need a comparable US product, the prices are high enough to allow it.

Poor fit.
This is probably the 5th pair of under armour leggings I have purchased and by far the worst fitting. I have 3 pairs of XL UA compression leggings ranging from a year to 10 years old. I bought these in XXL. They are ridiculously snug. These XXLs will NOT stay up, unlike all the other XL pairs I own. I work out in these and I either have plumber crack or look like I am fighting a case of the crabs pulling them up constantly. I will say they are quite warm when they aren’t sliding down off my butt.

Keeps the legs and the boys warm
used these on a run and then again on my hikes (above 8000 ft) and have to say it keeps the boys and my legs nice and toasty.. Ihave never worn tights/leggings so it took some getting used to but once I did it felt like I was not wearing anything at all. I will be getting another pair. I am not sure I would wear them alone. I use them as a base layer. I usually use them when it is below 35 degrees.

Unsure of quality, but use is perfect
Let me get this out of the way first- I’m unsure of the quality of these tights, as I found several loose threads in various locations before I even tried them on. So far, I’ve used these 8-10 times and they’ve held up, however the reflective logo began breaking apart after the 2nd or 3rd wash. Not that I care so much about the logo, but the reflectivity is one of the reasons I chose these. They fit true to size if not a touch long and do not cause any chafing or other issues.

Surprisingly warm in near-freezing temperatures
It’s hard to believe that such a thin layer of fleece can add so much comfort as the temperature drops into the 20s & 30s. These make a great base layer for walking outdoors with as many additional layers of clothing as conditions require. And they do wick away a lot of perspiration, which is wicked further by each successive layer of dri wick clothing. Large was a snug fit @ 175# & 5-7 but that’s fine for a compression garment.

Highly Recommended!
I have made several runs in these and have been very happy with my purchase. The price I paid for these was more than fair. Typically, cold running gear of good quality like these are much more expensive.I am 6’1 and the Large fits me perfectly. I have also ran them through several washes and they are still holding up very well.If you are a runner looking for a great product at a good price you can’t go wrong with these.

Warm, stretchable, and comfortable for running in cold weather. Unlike some UA Coldgear, these (especially in white), require you to wear shorts over them.

Perfect for winter!
These will keep you warm and comfortable during the colder months. Perfect to wear under jeans or snow pants. They are the exact same as a pair I purchased from a sport/outdoor store a couple years ago so they appear to be genuine under armour. Highly recommend these thermals.

Great “Coldgear” To Have
This is more of an informational note than full review. These type of leggings are used for all sorts of sports of which I don’t use them for and can’t speak to their usefulness for those purposes. I bought mine for running daily 5Ks followed by another 5K cool down walk — literally ha ha.I’m 5’6″, not skinny, not fat, not muscular, and on the higher end of the “normal” BMI weight range. The medium size fits me perfectly — this is my usual size for UA fitted and compression clothes. It’s snug but does not strangle and I’m not begging to get out of them when I return from my routine. They are comfortable as far as compression tights can be.The interior is fleece lined. I have other pairs of “cold gear” tights that are not lined but work just as well, but it does add to the comfort I think. I wear these in temps between 30-45 (not including any windchill factor). Even with a 25 windchill they keep me warm. My usual routine is an hour long, but only 25-30 min of that is running. The rest is walking which I’m not generating as much body heat. I think that says a lot about these leggings. My only “beef” with these — or any other compression leggings — is that they are too long for my short legs, but probably not an issue for 99% of the population. I try to buy 3/4 leggings but they are a rare bird for men in a winter design. But despite the length the excess doesn’t get in the way since I wear jogger pants over them. Finally, I would note these seem to be intended as a base layer and not to be worn solo. The crotch area is “breathable” and a bit see though. So at a minimum you need to wear shorts over these.

Ordered these for upcoming skiing trip. This product worked excellent as advertised for cold weather base layer . Ordered XXL (wear XL) and still alittle tight but comfortable. Compression very apparent.

Very tight. Size up?
My husband is a medium in everything and is slim. These compression pants are hard for him to get on (and off lol) and he says they arent very comfortable because of how tight they are… BUT he is a tower climber and he is keeping them because they keep him warm, even hundreds of feet in the air during winter. I think I’ll get him another pair in a size up (L)

Very warm, comfortable and good-looking
I was really skeptic about buying this because it was expensive for me and it didn’t really looked thick enough to be warm. However, I gave it a try with amazon’s “try before you buy”. And as soon as I tried it, I loved it. It fit very well, was so warm and the material seemed very good quality. Nowadays I wear this almost everyday inside of my pants and it keeps me so warm. Totally worth it!

Great cold weather Bills game gear
The tight fit over your waist and legs with very comfortable elastic waist and ankle band stops wind. An excellent source of heat retaining in very cold Buffalo winters, be it Bills games, snow shoveling, or just walking the dog

Price is the deciding factor
Under Armour is pretty reliable in providing high quality gear. However, some comparable options are out there at more affordable price. So, one must weigh cost and reliability against less costly but risky options. One sale these were a great option.

True to size, comfortable, inexplicable crotch design
These tights run true to size and are in the “midweight” insulation range, although they’re on the light end of that. The design head scratcher to me is why they’d make the junk pouch mesh on a pair of tights meant to be worn in cooler weather. “I’d like less insulation there when it’s cold outside please” said no guy ever. They are very form fitting and are comfortable though. If they made the crotch the same material as the rest of the tights and made them a bit warmer these would be solid five star territory. As it is, they’re pretty flawed and there are better options out there at a similar price point.

Buy buy buy
My boyfriend loves to run, where we live it is constantly snowing but he refuses to run on a treadmill. These are nice and thick (but not too thick,) breathable and the thermal fabric keeps my bubby nice and comfortably warm. They keep his core temp just right. I wouldn’t buy any other compression pants knowing how amazing these ones are!

Cold gear grinder
Yeah it was a little pricey but totally worth it. The material’s nice and soft works great in winter. I bought a large but next time I’ll buy a medium. I’m a size 36 waist and 5’5, so the large fits but too big length wise, still no complaints. Have used them a total of 6 times since I got them. Definitely shoulda bought at the beginning of winter but what are ya gonna do…

Order one size bigger!
They’re very warm, comfortable and durable. But I should’ve ordered a size bigger. I’m 6 foot and my girlfriend is five foot, exactly 1 foot difference in our heights, but I gave up on the MENS LARGE that I ordered as it is just too small, but somehow, the MENS LARGE fits my 5 foot girlfriend just fine. I am of a relatively athletic build, most XL clothing would be too big for me, but not with this item.

Kept warm but fit is less than desirable
These were used a base layer and kept me from being cold and helped as a windbreaker. I am 6’ tall and weigh between 190-195lbs and I went with the Large size. The cut and fit around the crotch and seat are less than desirable. For my use as a spectator at a sporting event they were fine but I wouldn’t use these for any activities with a lot of motion. I constantly felt like I was carrying a load between my legs. The material was always sagging down and I had to constantly adjust. Not saying I want a super wedgie like a pair of TikTok leggings that my wife has, but I would like them to stay up and be supportive, not just smash everything down and sag. Overall, my legs didn’t freeze, so for that they worked as intended for my order, but beyond that I’ll have to look elsewhere.

You get what you pay for
Most of my other leggings are $10 per pair and I splurged on these for Black Friday. They are definitely nicer. Thicker, more durable, more compressing, not see through at all. I just don’t get why people still make leggings without pockets. My $10 pairs have a phone pocket that I use while running. These don’t and that could have made them 5 stars.

These are amazing.
I’ve never worn leggings before. After wearing these in the winter (live in New York), I don’t know how I lived without these. These are SUPER comfortable and keep me very warm. Whether it’s 40 degrees outside of 10 degrees with wind chill, these are an absolute live saver. I’ve worn these on long walks (4-6 miles) as well as runs (5-8 miles) in relatively chilly weather (low 40s) and also in some really cold weather (20s with win) and these work so well. I will never stop wearing these during the winter.

THIS LEGGING RUNS SMALL
I wear Nike Pro warm legging size SMALL so I thought it would be good idea if I also order this SMALL. I was wrong. This is much smaller than my other Small size leggings. Returning it for Medium. If you’re buying this, consider to size up unless you want to get that very tight compression feeling and have 5 extra minutes to put on / off the legging.

Comfortably Warm, NOT HOT!
I’ve used UA products before, I still have some pairs, from over 20 years ago…These recently purchased ones, didn’t disappoint, the waistband has been improved, just a little wider/tighter, so they tend to NO LONGER roll, after sitting for a length of time. These were DEFINITELY ‘Compression Fit’, but I expected and preferred them that way!

Good product
Great base layer product!! Only downfall is I got them for my boyfriend who is 6’5” and has a long inseam on his legs. I wish they had longs for taller people without having to buy a bigger boy size. He sized up to get some extra length but they still go above ankles. Hence why I took off a star but good base quality for sure
