Solid magnetic grip
The color wasn’t what I was originally expecting. I thought it was an opalescent blue for all of it but it’s a sky/baby blue pill base with clear opalescent pop. The magnets are strong and it’s a really solid grip. Slides off easily when removed properly but holds firm when using as an additional grip point on your phone. I have accidentally flung my phone while holding the grip and it’s obviously not meant to save it from a drop but it does keep it from falling on my face at night lol. It also helps have more comfort when holding my phone in general.

Great product, string hold.
It’s a great product. Just make sure to get it with the HaloLock magnetic straps. I just had them delivered today, and the magnetic hold is life changing, especially after you’ve experienced the cheap stuff.

Amazingly strong
The instructions on the box for this pop socket said to only use with a magsafe case and not with a bare phone. I thought that was odd, since the website doesn’t say that. When I attached it to my magsafe case, I nearly could not remove it, it’s that strong. I then tried it with my bare phone. That was a little less strong, but it was still very solid and you’re not going to drop the phone with this attached. The Popsocket was a little easier to remove from the phone. I’m guessing than my magsafe case has stronger magnets than the phone. I’m very happy with the purchase. If I had a wish, it would be for a slight re-design to allow it to be removed quicker, perhaps a tab, or edge that you can put something under. But, for it’s purpose, holding the phone, you are very protected.

Strong grip on the case
I bought this magnetic PopSocket to go on the MagSafe case I bought for my new iPhone 15. I had a regular PopSocket for my old phone and wanted one that would work with my new magnetic case. This magnetic PopSocket holds very well, yet can be removed to use the phone on a wireless charger or magnetic phone holder in the car. It’s comfortable to hold and works well as a stand to watch videos. It also looks great with my pink phone and iridescent trimmed case.I’ve seen other reviewers complaining that the magnet is “too weak”, but they’re clearly trying to use it on a case that is not MagSafe compatible. You can see the magnet in the case in my photos. This item very clearly states that it’s only for use with MagSafe style cases. Don’t discredit the magnetic item if you’re not going to use it properly.

TLDR: Good MagSafe PopSocket – long read for detailsI was afraid the magnet on this MagSafe PopSocket would not be strong enough to work. I previously bought 2 different MagSafe PopSocket adapters that barely worked. My rational was I already had a sticky PopSocket, and this one was so expensive. I figured I would just buy an adapter, and I’d be good.NopeThe first adapter was a round disk that you attached your PopSocket to and it magnetically attached it to the MagSafe. The PopSocket stuck to the adapter fine. The adapter very weakly connected to the iPhone case. So weakly that if I moved wrong it would disconnect. It was so bad it was pretty much unusable.I thought the round adapter wasn’t connecting enough, so I returned it and got a oval adapter like the base of this one. Once the sticky PopSocket was attached, it basically looked like this one. I wasn’t as confident this time, but I tried it anyway.It worked better than the round one, but it still was not very magnetically strong, and the bottom half kept coming discontinued and swinging around and getting in the way. Basically, it didn’t work.I returned it and used my last sticky pad to attach the PopSocket to my MagSafe case , completely ruining the wireless charging that I was looking forward to.I had a stroke, so my nerves are shot and I can’t hold an iPhone without a PopSocket of some sort.I went back to plugging it in, but the wireless charging thing kept bugging me. So, as a last shot tried a black MagSafe PopSocket. $30 later, I had the item.It looked like the second adapter I used, but I figured I’d see if the magnetic connection was better.OMG it worked! I still think it’s too expensive, but it actually stays on unless you pull it apart. Nothing like the weak connection between with the adapters. It stays and doesn’t move. I’m sorry but ever tried the adapters. It was a waste of time and money and set me up having to choose a cheaper option that didn’t work.***** oh, for all those that say this PopSocket is a weak connection. There is a difference between a regular iPhone case and a MagSafe case. A regular case lets very little magnetic force through. You need a MagSafe case with an extra magnet in the case. A regular case will sometimes work with wireless charging, but barely. I’ll bet the people that say this magnet is weak have a regular case. With a MagSafe case it works great!! Even with the MagSafe case, the adapters barely worked.I think the big difference is that the official PopSocket has magnets in the base. The adapters may look the same, but they don’t have magnets. They are just a piece of painted metal that the MagSafe case grabs onto.**** see video

Love
I had purchased one like this at Marshall’s for $12.99. I loved it! One day when I got home it was gone. I don’t know where I could’ve lost it, the magnet is so strong. I was so sad! I retraced my steps but it never was found. So I go back to Marshall’s but they’ve sold out. I kept going to check for more in stock but nothing. So I go online and realized what a good deal I got when I found it at Marshall’s. I hesitated to buy this hoping my lost one would turn up at some point but I finally ordered this and although I think it’s expensive I really love it.

Not for photos….NOT for me! Painful!
It gets four stars because it does what it says. But I’m very disappointed. If you have Arthritis, skip it. That’s only the first issue, my phone doesn’t feel secure using it. Along with other issues.The first picture in my review is to show how the placement of this Pop Socket is completely off. I take 25,000 plus photos a year, and this is just in the way. The second photo shows the only possible position for finger placement to not interfere with the lens, basically turn your hand side ways while doing acrobatics with your hand to get pictures, doing this doesn’t come natural. Very uncomfortable grip, not something you want to think about while on a photo shoot. My fingers are short, (see photo). This actually takes away the ability to securely hold my phone. Short fingers cause yet another issue, I have to shove the Pop Socket as far as it will go between my fingers, and still can’t wrap my fingers around my iPhone 14 Pro, (Not the max.) once your fingers are spread Eagle, as far apart as you can get them, it causes a lot of pain, also making it an even greater risk of it suddenly sliding off your hand from so much pressure, like squishing a banana out of it’s peeling…The case shown is an Otterbox Commuter MagSafe case. The magnet is totally awesome strong on this device, it’s not going anywhere. I have to pry this thing off to charge the phone.The biggest issue is this is the most uncomfortable, downright painful device I ever tried to use. Within five minutes my fingers are throbbing! Not for those of us with arthritis! I found myself grabbing my phone with the Pop Socket on it, and just skipping it. So painful it didn’t occur to me to use it again!Bottom line, the magnetic action is fantastic. It looks nice. Extremely strong magnet. If you can handle one of these. Great! But this is going back at the first opportunity! I will be looking for something that fits between my fingers without pain.Foot note; I Found a fantastic grip, this went back and I ordered the Andobil Magnetic Phone grip. Yes, Amazon has this little gem. This thing is the bomb. No more painful fingers, and one can really get a grip. It comes with some awesome extras. As well as being a sturdy stand.

Versatility wins!
Pop Socket Review: It has been two weeks with my pop socket and I am just going to say that I think I am a fan! I think that the name “Pop Socket” is an awful name, but once you get passed that, it’s been very nice to have as an attachment to my phone.First off, I really like that the version I bought can be removed when necessary, so I’m not “committed” to it. Secondly, it really does help me with scrolling, texting, etc. when using it. I don’t get any weird hand cramps anymore because I find myself more ambidextrous with my phone use now. Also, when showing someone something on my phone, I can hold onto the socket, and it’s a lot easier for them to see my entire screen. Additional, the socket acts like a “kickstand” if I’m watching something on my phone (which I did on my flight, was very nice) and it makes taking pictures a lot easier since I can hold the phone with a much steadier grip.Ultimately, I’d recommend anyone at least TRY the pop socket if they think they might want a new way to hold their phones…(specifically the version that attaches to the Mag Safe magnet on the back of the iPhone). Bought for kindle, but doesn’t come with the magnetic piece
Love it for my kindle! It’s really strong and I love the color. The only downside is it didn’t come with the magnet to put on my kindle case to make it MagSafe compatible. I am sure that it states this in the product description, but I recently bought a MagSafe wallet and it came with the magnet to attach to my phone so I just assumed this would too. I ended up using a magnet from another kit that I didn’t need and it worked perfectly!

Saving my arthritis
I think the product pics don’t accurately capture how orange the holographic effect looks in the light. Not a bad thing, I was just surprised by it because it seems like it would shift to purple/pink based on the photos.It scratches somewhat easily against keys & other sharp objects so when it comes time to be replaced, I may opt for one without the large plate so there’s less surface area to damage. I have it attached to an Android case with magsafe and it is SO STRONG.

Save your fingers
Does what it says looks how it looks order if you want it. If you do not currently use a pop socket I suggest looking on the pinky of the hand that holds your phone. Does it curve? My curve has started to go away after a year of using them. My only issue is that it’s slightly uncomfortable like all pop sockets on my finger that’s under it, wish it had velvet or something.

Cool kindle popsocket -MagSafe-
It holds my kindle smoothly. Easy to hold. It’s so strong that I feel I’ll break it when I want to remove it from the device. I use it on my phone as well. But it’s mainly for the kindle. Loved it so far…. Will update my review if I changed my mind uwu.

I had a bunch of friends recommend this and ignored them and went with a competitior product and within a few days realized my mistake and ordered the Popsocket for an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Visually it looks flimsy but surprisingly is physically strong and I feel like it gives a great grip.

Pretty nice!
I got the iridescent popsocket and like others mentioned, it’s more orangey than blue. It’s nice though! Perfectly matched for my black iPhone 15. One thing I don’t love is the popsocket is wobbly where it connects to the magsafe part, not sure if it’s a defect but it is kind of annoying that it wobbles.

Strong magnet, can remove over and over
I used the sticker pop sockets in the past but with my new iPhone 14 I wanted something with magsafe compatibility. I “upgraded” from an iPhone 12 mini to the iPhone 14 and I worried about dropping the 14 which is too large for my hands. This pop socket was the solution. It gives me extra grip and security. The magnet is powerful and won’t fall off accidentally but it also isn’t hard to remove when you need to. I take it off every time I get in my car and use the magsafe phone holder/charger. I put it back when I leave my car. The popsocket has held up to this daily use for about 6 months now and still looks brand new. Wish it was a little cheaper but it’s worth the money. And the design is really pretty.

Works great with my iPhone 15 Pro Max with a MagSafe Case!
I use a black Spigen Tough Armor case with MagSafe on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and this MagSafe Pop Socket works great with it. The magnet is very strong when used with my case. When it comes time to remove it when I need to use other MagSafe accessories it can be a little tricky to remove but if you slide the bottom of the Pop Socket to the side you can then lift it off. Great Product.

Excellent MagSafe PopSocket!
I have had several ring type phone holders only to hit something when letting the phone dang from it. I decided I need something to force me to not do that. This is extra strong magnet so I can even hold just the beside of the popsocket and the phone is still very secure and safe!

So have have pop sockets and love the ones that glue on. This one with magnets is ok to provide extra stability when holding phone with one hand. However you have to remember it is not glued on and will not support the weight of the phone

Durable and lightweight
Some people may shy away from this because it seems bulky but it really isn’t. The magnetic connection to my MagSafe iPhone is very powerful but it’s also easy to remove so it has a strong hold but removable for MagSafe charging.

The color
It works very well as a pop socket and fits very nice in your hand, but the color is not at all like the pictures. The photos show an iridescent translucent pink color, however once seeing it in person the pink is very dull, almost Matte, and when any sort of light reflects on it, there is a very overpowering blue sheen.

I had the 1st gen MagSafe pill pop socket and it was a hard cheap plastic feel. This one is clear and feels very nice to hold. Which is a must on something you are going to touch so often throughout the day. I wasn’t sure I really needed a new pop socket but I love it.

A Fine but not Perfect Grip.
I enjoy how easily this attaches and detaches from my MagSafe phone case. I have always used a traditional pop socket, but with my upgrade to magsafe, had to find an alternative solution. The magnets are strong and this will stay put unless you’d like to remove it, then that is easy to do as well.The biggest downside is that I have large hands and fingers and the way the pop socket is mounted on the magnetic platform there is less space between the base and the grip when fully extended compared to a normal pop socket. As a result, I can’t fit my fingers around it comfortably. I will be looking for a new solution.

Great at concerts
Review after half a year of use.Pop socket starts yellowing after 1-2 months. The acrylic base stays clear though! Prone to scratches but is barely noticeable. Great magnet, never lost the phone even in the middle of mosh pitting at concerts. 4 stars because they came out with a smaller one that just goes on the circle part but still charges the same price. How dare they not let me know?

Great hold!
This is the first Magsafe Popsocket item I have purchased for my phone. I was tired of removing the Popsocket grip slide from my phone to use the charging pad in my car. This product saves wear and tear on my case because I am not sliding it up and down to access the charging area on the phone. The magnet is very strong and works perfectly with the Magsafe case (different product/brand) that I bought as well. Highly recommended.

Tops ARE Swappable!!
Bought this because I didn’t want to ruin a silicone Apple case. Pricey, considering normal popsockets are around $10-$15 (cheaper if you check the ‘bay). I got this on Prime Day and paid $21.There were lots of conflicting answers about wether or not you can swap the tops or not. I think this stems from the fact that the earlier versions of this MagSafe pop, you couldn’t swap the tops. The ones made within the last two or so years, you CAN swap the tops. I have included a picture of mine to show that I did, in fact, manage to swap the top.One little thing I found awkward was my hands were not used to the raised section that holds the magnets. I had to get used to a little less space between the phone and the bottom side of the poptop, compared to what I was used to with a normal popsocket that has a flat base. I do prefer that this is a bit better with reuse-ability. I can swap cases without having to buy new bases.Overall I like it; it holds strong and doesn’t come off until you want it to. I just see it as it should’ve been in the more reasonable range, price-wise, of $15-$20.

Very nice phone holder
This is perfect if you have a magsafe phone case, it attaches so good and does not come off unless you purposely take it off. This is perfect if you still want to wireless charge, but still like a popsocket. I unfortunately lost mine somewhere around the house, but while I used it it was perfect!
